We had a great experience buying our Rockwood HW276 pop up camper from Toppers! We had great customer service from the very helpful and friendly Treva Nunley. Everything has gone smoothly so far from initial visit to leaving with our brand new pop up. We especially appreciated how thorough and experienced Rafa was, who did our orientation for us. We felt very comfortable asking questions and getting familiar with our new camper. Although we’ve not had any experience with their service dept yet, we can speak highly of Toppers so far and would definitely recommend buying here. Plus, we got the best deal around, and who wants to mess with I45! This Waller location is very nice and convenient. It was great having a Love’s around the corner to get acclimated to towing our camper.

Full disclosure: I didn’t buy anything because no one was interested in selling me anything. I went to pick up parts, and it seemed like my presence annoyed the guy behind the counter. After about 10 min of being ignored or passed off to someone else I left. Then I found out that they actually depend on the internet sales as their main business. Locals coming in to purchase parts, not so much.

Worst Dealer I had dealings with. Before I paid $ 70,000.00 everything was nice and smooth. Don’t ask after to fix anything under WARRANTY it’s a crime at that dealership. Only Lies and and things getting done half way. Waiting now nearly 3 months on my replacement Counter top. Seals falling of which was fixed already by them before.
So think twice before you regret the purchase of your NEW RV.

I recently purchased a Sunseeker 24 MB C Class from Toppers. Pricing was negotiable and fair, Delivery prep was complete, Trade-​in Value was in line with NADA wholesale, Service and commitment has been excellent. There was a small scratch in the paint at delivery. They (Rene) worked with a local body shop and had the work done quickly to my satisfaction. Sales (Treva) was outstanding. She was helpful and informative and what she did not know she quickly found out by calling the Factory Rep who also was helpful and informative. I highly recommend Toppers. It was well worth the drive from Bastrop (Austin Area) to Waller Tx

Nov. 17^th we bought a NEW 2014 5^th wheel from Toppers RV in Waller TX. We also purchased a washing machine and dryer to be installed by them. I picked the camper up while my husband was at work and brought it to the RV park we’re at and after a day it started raining and we noticed a leak in the bedroom at the bottom of the slide that holds the washer/​dryer and bed. We assumed it was from the rain but after it stopped raining I noticed it was still leaking (soaking a bath towel in an hr!) In the mean time there were several leaks under the sink and a leak in the shower from not being siliconed properly. I called the dealer for someone to come out and fix it and they told me they did not do mobile repairs and to call the manufacturer who told me to find someone to come fix it and they would take care of the cost. No one wanted to mess with it because they were worried about not getting paid right away. (It’s hard to bring it in because we live and work out of it and would have no where to stay) my husband finally got a day off and upon looking under the «brand new» trailer it was completely rusted and carotid. We were livid and that Tuesday, 8 days after buying it we brought it back and attempted to just get another trailer that was worth the $ 60+ thousand that we paid! The service manager acted as if all of the problems were no big deal and could easily be fixed. (you CAN NOT fix rust) Larry the GM and his son (I’m guessing) came out and were EXTREMELY RUDE and told me to «be quiet» and his son literally bowed up at me!!!(I’m 130 pounds and I’m no threat to these 2 grown men) after feeling threatened I had no choice but to leave it there to have the problems fixed and upon picking the camper up Dec. 1^st I learned the leak was from them not installing the washing machine properly so it constantly leaked for 8 days! They only replaced 1 piece of trim and the rest is all still water damaged and the carpet is still wet!!! Common sense tells me that if water sits in something that is NOT supposed to hold water there is going to be a lot more damage than just the pretty trim. Also it looks like they just took some cheap spray paint and painted over the rust under the trailer, they didn’t wire brush it or anything and the shower STILL LEAKS! I’m very frustrated and I’m done trying to deal with Larry because I just get treated like I’m the bad person for being upset that our brand new camper is having so many problems! This is the first complaint I’ve ever made in my entire life and it’s really sad that I have too. If Larry would have came out and spoke to me with respect and sincerity about my frustrations it would have made things a lot better, I understand that mistakes can be made and I’m the first to forgive and forget but after the way I was treated I’m very upset and the more I think about it the more upset I get. We are apart of a very large unit of people who live in 5^th wheels and this could have been a very good opportunity for Larry because we all buy and trade often and could have sent him lots of business like we did the last dealership, but now I will make it a habit to let every company, every RV park, everyone we work with or come in contact with that is in the market for a new 5^th wheel, every blog, every website and every group I’m apart of know not to EVER go to Topper’s! Just yesterday after posting to my FB I have differed SIX people from Topper’s. Again, sorry (I do feel bad for stooping) but you cannot treat people like that and have terrible service and expect to get away with it.

Awesome experience all the way from sales team to service department. We just bought our first RV and they where very patient and knowledgable. We would highly recommend them. Talk to Treva our sales lady. She was the bomb.

I am updating my review over a year later and a different camper.
Rene and his crew continue to be the very best. There are honest and straightforward in all their dealing. The best part is they fix it right the first time!
You can count on them to be reasonably priced and offer good value.

We took our Coleman Laramie in for repair 6 weeks ago and as of yesterday they still have not touched it. Unfortunately to me it seems that they prioritize their service work on what will provide the most money to them not depending on when it is brought to them for work. I am very disappointed by their service. We wanted a few minor items fixed to sell the trailer so we can purchase a new one. We did find one we were interested in that had just come in so it wasn’t ready for purchase. Salesman Garrett was to e-​mail us information but unfortunately that didn’t happen either. We did end up purchasing a new unit from another dealer and went by Toppers to remove some items from our Coleman. At that time we were told that our RV repair would be started on Wednesday (two weeks back) but still nothing. I have a new trailer now but still want my old one repaired. We have dealt with Toppers in the past and had excellent results but this time has not been good at all. I am very reluctant to recommend them for sales or service.

Took my camper there after having issues with another dealership in Houston.
Spoke with Isreal who was super nice and told me to wait for Rene. Now that is where the issue is.
Rene is arrogant, rude, unhelpful, callus, and honestly the ONE reason I would never send anyone to purchase their camper there.
He told me «we don’t work on your style of camper.» I pushed back saying that Dutchmen actually recommended we see you and he said «well you know what, maybe so, but we only service what we sell, so…» «We’re so busy we only work on the ones we sell» then he stopped looking near me and started to look busy for me to leave. Rude as hell.
The world of camping goes by referrals and this one person who was rude will make me forever not recommend someone spending a ton on money on a camper from them.
Oh and you should know, I was going to trade in my camper today too. It appears you lost out on business. Thank your rude service guy Rene for that.

Let’s start with your grammar. Don’t make it sound as if I «feel like» I had a bad experience. I did, like the others here, have a horrible experience. I’ve read other reviews and multiple people have had an issue with Rene. Don’t try to make it the customers problem when it’s his (your) issue. Not only is it condescending, but speaks to how customers are treated in your establishment.
While I can respect the laws for campers how I was treated was horrible. There are two ways to handle the situation. How Rene did it and this way «oh I’m sorry sir, we’re not a licensed dealer and cannot work on your rig. «I would have left more than happy and probably traded my unit in.
After reading your feeble attempt to save face I really wish I could give this place zero stars. But alas Unilocal only gives us the one star.
