T & C Seafood has changed ownership and is now called Angie’s Mexican and Seafood. We were in Waller looking at some storage buildings and asked the sales lady for a good lunch recommendation. She said the local favorite was just down 1488. The marquee says T&C seafood, but the name has been changed. We saw it was clean and uncluttered as we entered. Service was prompt, and very cordial, seating was comfortable with plenty of elbow room. I ordered the fried shrimp platter and my wife had the fried catfish po’boy. The shrimp were covered with a rich, crunchy and tasty batter. They were of good size and very tender; cooked perfectly and not over-butterflied. Their homemade cocktail sauce was excellent.(Unknowingly, I got plenty of it on my shirt!) My wife’s catfish po’boy was so stuffed full of tender catfish, she had to nibble on a couple of large bits of fish so the sandwich could be held. It was a very generous portion of cornmeal crusted catfish. Her side salad was crunchy and fresh. We plan to return for Mexican food next! Can’t wait!

Awesome food and awesome service. Do not judge place by its outer appearance. Best seafood I have had in years. Shrimp quesadillas and salsa super good. Carla was an amazing server. This place is a must stop even if its not on my usual path… I will make a detour to come here again and again!

Tried this place out from a friends tip, would have never stopped there otherwise from the look of the place, though the décor is a bit underwhelming, the food was great — fried shrimp the best, oysters and crawfish tasty too, great service, reasonable prices. If you happen to be out that way, try it out!
