History

Established in 2013.

This is a brand new restaurant that is a dream come true for owner and Chef, Gabino Juan. As long as he can remember, he has always loved cooking and feeding people. It always made him happy to see people smile and enjoy his food, and that inspired him to open up his own place. through years of hard work, he was finally able to gather enough money to open up this place. We hope that this place stays open and running for many years to come and we will try to inprove it slowly to make it bigger and better.

Business Owner

Gabino juan is a very strong and caring person who has always put people before him. since as long as he could remember he has always loved cooking and feeding other people. He always did his best to satisfy people and cook to their liking. He noticed that in every restaurant he has ever worked in, that the other cooks only threw the food together just to get it over with. He wanted to change that, and that is how his dream to open up his own restaurant started. Now it’s a dream come true. He hopes that in this restaurant he will be able to get to know the people and learn what they like so he can improve his dishes in order to satisfy them.

Very dishonest and unfriendly staff… not worth your time or money! Go north to Newport and eat at the much better mexican restaurants there.

Very polite service and good food. The servings were very generous. The beans were excellent! I had the tamale which was moist and delicious. The accompanying green sauce was also tasty. Will be back when I’m in the area.

Great place! The chips were plentiful. The waitress, jubilant and pleasant, did not judge us for eating a lot. The food was great. And my day was made by the Andes mints at the register. I’d only recommend hot sauces on the tables.

We always come back to this restaurant when we are in the area. Authentic Mexican food and family run. My husband usually gets the chimichanga, but chose the supreme burrito tonight. I had the taco salad. Very flavourful, and enjoyable. The food came within 10 minutes of ordering (busy Saturday night). I don’t like extra spicey food and this was just the right side of the line. Really enjoyable food, reasonable prices, great friendly service. You can’t go wrong.

Not sure how anyone could call the food at Fresco ‘bland,’ everyone in our family — including my very discerning wife who grew up in Tucson and is very picky about her Mexican food — loved their meal. The recipes seemed authentic and the ingredients definitely were fresh. The tortillas were some of the best I’ve had, the kids both loved their shrimp and crab burritos, my wife said she would pick their chili relleno for a last meal and my chicken ala cream was great! Their fresh salsa was also delicious and our server was very friendly and attentive. And everything was reasonably priced especially for the coast.
We’ll definitely return if we’re ever in Waldport.

Food was good and reasonably priced. I would recommend the sea food as my crab enchiladas were amazing. The food came out fast after we ordered and the service was attentive. The only downsides were that the servers had trouble understanding what we were trying to say and the bathrooms while clean were a little dingy.

Went for lunch. Tried the special chimichanga as well as the enchilada/​taco plate. It was definitely freshly made. Service was excellent, the place is clean and nice with a bay view over the patio, Unfortunately the food had no flavor.

Fresh and tasty food served with excellent service from really nice people. We had a couple of tostadas, pork verde and carne asada, which we took to-​go. Everything was good and the portions are large enough that my husband enjoyed finishing my meat with rice and beans leftover still. They sent us with a large serving of chips and salsa which was unusual for a take out from Mexican but had the most delicious salsa of my life. I will go back next time I am in the area. For sure. Hopefully when I return they will have their liquor license.
