History

Established in 2005.

Of course we were doing business under this name as early as 1992, but this is the beginning of the brick and mortar store. Grandma (Helen Bues) was a big part of the early business, giving help and advice (and grammar correction) from her chair at the back of the shop. Tempus began actually working in the shop in 2008. We moved from Seal Rock to Waldport in the spring of 2011 to a much larger space. Classes and workshops are a big part of what we do, as well as Green Screen portrait photography and various special events including monthly Psychic Fairs and the Oregon Coast Pan-​Pagan Gathering.

Business Owner

At the age 3, in desperation at my wiggliness, my Czech grandmother taught me to embroider. I’ve been hooked on all kinds of crafts since then and have taught them, too, since my teen years.

I spent 15 years as an SCA merchant (Society for Creative Anachronism) selling my blackwork embroidery patterns (Mab’s Creations) and other products, such as period toys and music.

My first training in magic was from my Slavic shaman grandfather, but I didn’t become Wiccan until my mid-20’s, going on 25 years now. I got my 2^nd degree in 1985, and 3^rd in 2010 and have practiced steadily since, both as a solitary and in circles.

I love working at the shop, creating products, counseling, teaching and doing readings.
