This mall has its ups and downs. I’ve seen the location have the perfect mix of stores with plentiful offerings and the next time I visit a particular store will be closed. I’m not sure what the deal is with the vast amount of openings then strange, quick closings.
The food court is okay but I rarely eat anything. My BFF likes Cinnabon and I like Sarku Japan (the sushi is really good). I like the fact that I see a lot of cleaning staff constantly clearing tables and keeping the area neat and orderly. No issues on that end.
I think that the parking security does an okay job. I’ve visited this mall countless times and I’ve never had any issues with my car in the parking lot. Great! All in all when I’m in a bind and need something quick I’ll stop by this mall, otherwise I drive a bit further for better & more options.

I can honestly say, i don’t like to shop. BUT, i do have 3 kids who do, so the mall is an essential part of our lives. This mall isn’t horrible. I’ve seen worse. But, and there’s always a «but», i wish they would bring is a few higher end stores. Charles County had a median household income in 2013 of over $ 93K, so i don’t understand why we don’t have stores that reflect that interspersed with stores for other incomes. A little something for both. We love H&M, AEO, Rue 21, and Charlotte Russe. That’s where we do most of our shopping. If we want higher end stores we have to travel to the new Tanger Outlets or the National Harbor. There ARE a LOT of teens running around the mall at any given time. We’ve never had an issue with them, but it’s true, it does seem to be a drop off for parents. The theater is behind the mall so that may contribute to some of the crowd. Other than that, i don’t mind going there, but i always take my husband with me and make sure i go in the daytime. Night time at the mall can be a little sketchy… just be aware of your surroundings as with any shopping mall…

The mall is getting better! There was a time 6 years or so ago where you couldn’t go to the mall at night without being harassed by groups of armed teens. Seriously. That was when they were opening until 10 or 11pm. I don’t like that they close at 9pm, but it has helped it calm down a lot. Now it’s almost never crowded. A lot of really good stores have closed recently, but also some good new stores have come in. I like going here to shop, it’s not as bad as other malls. I just hope they fill in some of those empty stores soon!

Awful. No directories anywhere. 4 sports shoes stores and not a one has a good selection of running shoes for women. Dicks has an ok selection, but nothing high end. Wasted trip.

I’m so mad with Sephora right now… I mean there aren’t too many Sephora stores outside of JC Penny’s so I go there to check out sum new make up products & to use a birthday gift card & the girl there was doing one of her co-​workers make up & was totally rushing me & other guest I felt VERY shorted in my experience here & don’t want to return. PERIOD

This mall sucks! The only good stores in here are H&M, Express & the MAC counter inside Macys. Lol. Oh and the stores that sell sneakers like Footlocker. But I’m not a big sneaker person so…

I thought my friend was joking when he worried about my safety but some quick online searches showed that indeed there had been stabbings, shootings, and lots of robberies here.
When the security guard asks you upon entering if you’ve hid all your valuables in your vehicle, you know to be wary.
There’s not much more to say except don’t go here unless you ABSOLUTELY have to. I wish the atmosphere matched the mall’s updated décor but it’s just a trick of the eye.

I need help with my review Unilocalers, this is the mall that I grew up in and come back on the occasion when I’m hankering for a Cinnabon cinnamon bun or something from Cajun Plus in the food court. Well I can’t get C.P. anymore because they are gone! Yes that Chinese food place in the corner of the food court that served the Roast (red) chicken is no more. Probably moved out because of increasing rent although I could not get a definitive answer. But that shiznit was hitting like a Bryce Harper bat. I do not know why it was called Cajun Plus when it served general tso chicken, beef and broccoli, fried rice… I guess the one station of bourbon chicken superseded everything else who knows. The point is that place is gone and I think a little bit of me died with it being removed.
But wherever you have moved onto Cajun Plus I WILL FIND YOU! My lil nod to General Zod in the Man of Steel movie. Stay Tuned.
For now solid 2.5 stars, I will update upon discovery.

This is a pretty nice mall in Waldorf.
When we’re visiting family in Prince George’s County down this way, we almost always stop in (at my wife’s prodding). But I don’t mind, this is a nice mall with good anchors, and at least whenever I’ve been here it’s not crazy busy with mindless shopper drones like so many other places.
Pretty certain I’ll always stop in here when I’m in the area.

no matter what time I go — weekday or weekend — kids are there
there are police walking around and on segways to deter foolishness — but I still feel thats not enough. sometimes the groups of kids just straighten up when the PoPo walk by

I agree with other posters in this forum; for some unknown reason this mall seems to be overrun with teenagers… Perhaps, there is no other place for them to gather in the area… Since I am from Virgina, I really can not say
As far as the mall itself is concerned, I thought it was pretty decent inside compared to the exterior. You could see the mall had undergone a recent renovation. The Macy’s, Kohls and JC Penney were all nice with a wide selection of merchandise, including Big and Tall clothing. The Sears… well…a Sears is a Sears… The interior had a nice selection of stores that are typical of any mall in America along with a decent sized food court. If I lived in the area, I would not mind shopping here.

This mall is average. I have definately seen worse. There is a mall in Owings Mill and one in Laurel (if it’s even still open) that are straight ghetto. They have stores in them that I’m sure most people have never even heard of. I went to those malls just to laugh since I’m new to the area.
So anyway, this mall is not on that level. It has some ok stores like Macy’s, H&M, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Victoria Secrets, etc. Not upscale like the malls in Tyson’s or Pentagon City, just average.

I appreciate this place has your good go to and run of the mill stores, but where is the glamour and upscale boutiques? Parking is never a problem and I’m always in and out because there is no reason to hang around. Nothing new or exciting.

District Heights, MD
This is obviously not the trendiest mall in the world. But there are enough reasons not to hate this mall. Those reasons are mainly Victoria’s Secret, H&M, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and New York & Company… Bath and Body Works for the smell goods also. These aren’t the best stores but they are very practical ones that you need. Don’t expect any super glam designers like Prada, Fendi, Gucci, not even Guess, Bebe, or Juicy Couture. They have a decent amount of practical women’s apparel selections here though. Oh and it’s not ghetto. Yeah. Pretty clean and well kept. That makes me happy.
On to the not so great! Is it just me or do they need more shoe stores and I’m not talking Foot Locker!!! Aldo maybe or a Nine West. Hell, I’d even take a Bare Feet. Or maybe its not the mall at all, maybe I just couldn’t find them lol. All I know is I found great clothes for work and couldn’t find a decent source of shoes. I mean Charlotte Russe sells shoes but that’s not really what I was looking for…
Also, don’t go when it’s too close to closing. Stores like H&M and Forever 21 are a mess and they look picked over. The chaos gives me a headache.

This mall was decent and clean. Looks older on the outside, but the inside is nice with plenty of stores to choose from. Arrived when they opened and had no problem with parking. Located near Target.

The most dead mall I’ve ever been to. The WORST mall I’ve ever been to… Poor Waldorf needs a better mall OR they need to do better with the shops and what not. I go here only to walk around, but never can find anything to purchase. oh welps. Waste of space and money if you ask me!

It’s an ok mall. I have seen way worse. It has been redesigned. It has this nice wood theme going for it. It does not have a Apple store. I say this because, you can usual judge how the mall is going to be if there is an Apple store in it. Not yet, it’s still Southern MD. It is a clean mall, always has been. You will find some pretty nice stores like Vicky’s Secret, Bath and Body Works, Macy’s Home and Macy’s.
I would give it a visit. Maybe if more people took to it maybe, just maybe it could grow into a very nice mall.

It’s a mall. There’s nothing distinctive about it other than that it’s one of the few ‘regular old’ malls in the area that’s not dying. It’s nice and clean, full of a wide variety of stores, is of moderate size, and the food court’s decent. Lacking anything special about it though — such as the size and variety of Tyson’s Corner, the size and look of Pentagon City, the size and wildly varied types of stores at Springfield Mall — there’s really no reason to go here unless you live nearby and just want to do some quick shopping or get ideas before going elsewhere. I guess this is what mall’s are for, but as a semi-​reformed mallrat, I still look to malls to for an entertaining experience more than ‘just shopping.’ (I would probably have given the mall a 3, but I’m being petty since it left me flat.)
