Not laying any blame here to anyone specific but wanted to clarify somethings regarding MME as a engine builder/machinist. Anyone over the last 25 years I have sent to MME/Titus has been ecstatic with the results. Mr. MCKEOWN doesn’t build engines off trial and error and what the chat boards and blogs say etc… he uses engineering based on scientific results using mathematical calculations that can’t be distorted(there a lot of that going on out there!)and he does it right. His 9 National titles and being a fan favorite at Engine Master’s every year speaks for itsself. Mr. McKeown has always been very honest yet very matter of fact of how he as the expert with decades of experience KNOWS what will work and what combination of engineering and parts combinations will not work. Remember there is 2 sides to every story and I can guarantee you that anything negative on MME was someone trying to build an engine against Mr. McKeowns sound tried and true advise because some friend or Internet chat group said it would work and that said customer went against what MME recommended! Give him a call you won’t be sorry. There is a reason Hot Rod Magazine in the 6⁄14 issue refers to him as a engine/chasis genious. I hope this gives clarification to those considering using MME/Titus Performance Products a little better insight from someone that has used or sent customers to Mark for over 25 years.

I’m happy you have had some ‘good luck’ with your engine builds… however I don’t think ‘luck’ is ever a good term for a race engine build! I can tell you now… If I could turn back time, MME would never have been involved in this build, obviously I didn’t do enough background on this company prior to engaging them to undertake this build. That is why this info is out on sites like this, I don’t want anyone to go through what I’ve been through with this engine build. By the way, I’m interested in knowing what«junk» was supplied for this build? So just to set you straight with facts, because it sounds like you may have been misinformed, 2 engine components in excellent condition were supplied for this build, supplied was, a brand new set of Cnc’d CHI head castings & a nascar cup sump in perfect condition, absolutely everything else was provided by MME It may be a baby motor to fit within a CI class… but really mate what does that have to do with it being a disgraceful engine build? Here is a link to a few other unsatisfied MME customers for you to look up: In relation to your statement about thousands of people satisfied with work they have had done by MME, I think there will be a fair portion of people that will be disappointed with both the service & product they received. Some are just too proud to let everyone know they have been shafted on a public forum! Anyhow, keep responding as long as you like, this is great! The longer this goes the more people will see it for what it is… a disgraceful engine build! Im in for the long haul, it ain’t going away anytime soon. I will start posting up some photos & dot-point every problem found with the build soon, stay tuned. Steve Q
