I heard this was a good shop. I took a used car from down the street to get inspected. It’s a very small place. I got to watch them work for awhile; they really know cars. The price of the inspection was not bad for the area either!
Integrity, personality, and skill. They’re nearly 60 miles away from my house but I have a feeling I might be going to see them if I need any repairs.

I originally went to the dealership to get my windshield wipers fixed, thinking it would be a quick fix. After 3 hours of waiting, they told me it would be $ 620, and the reason it was that price because they would need to take the whole windshield off to fix the problem! I would also have to come back the next day or two so they could order the part. I decided to get a second opinion so after searching around I decided to got to MacNeill’s. After dropping off my car, they gave me a ride home, and called me a few hours later saying they could fix my wipers the same day, for $ 260, less than half the price! So glad that I went to Macneill’s, not only did they do a great job, they were very friendly, and much less expensive and fixed them much more quickly than my «trusted» dealership.

I read some good reports about McNeill’s Auto Repair on FB a few weeks ago. I needed some work done so made an appointment to have them do the work. All I can say is, WOW! They took care of everything, offered to give me a ride home and to pick me up, did fantastic work and the cost of the service was very reasonable. This is where I will take my vehicles in the future for any repair work needed.

I was referred to MacNeil’s by a friend several years ago and I’ve been going there ever since. The owner Steve is seriously the most honest and kind hearted mechanic that I’ve ever come in contact with. His prices are extremely reasonable and often much lower than other local mechanic’s. The only flaw with MacNeil’s is that sometimes it may take a day or two for them to look at your car but always worth the wait.
