Lakeview Tavern is undergoing many exciting renovations. Including a new bar area with windows overlooking an outdoor deck, with beautiful views of the lake.

I go there for the music. Open mic is always erratic, but weekend bands are getting better and better. The surprise is for a nondescript hotel bar the food is really good. Bar food but good. If they ever build the deck it will be a good spot.

Zero… this was horrible… NO SLEEP and woken up to mass contruction above our room 238… sprays being sprayed and l have asthma… they booked our room took our money and we got woken at 7am to jerks… l told the front desk… she said «well u can just check out early then»…wtf…l paid to not sleep well and l have to work a 13 hour shift today as a driver with no damn sleep!!! This place is messed up… no warning on construction. …they just take your money and dont give a shit… no refund no l am sorry have a night on us… NOTHING…horrible night l will not ever go back… bad experience!!! My fiancé and l had a huge fight because we got woken up to that shit…

Unbelievably bad! Obviously hotel is for sleeping which you will not get here. The staff here has no social or organization skills what so ever. Me and my wife work during the night time, we sleep during the day. We was rudely awaken at 8am following with «you could check out early» by staff. My wife spoke with staff saying she was not notified about the work being done right above of us. Staff say’s” people usually get wake up and leave early, my wife tried to explain that she worked night then interrupt her and told she could check out early. Just all out rude. After they take your money they throw you out like garbage with no explanation.

Worst hotel experience of my life!!!
Never stay here the manager is horrible. I could go into detail but I don’t feel like writing a damn book.
Hotel rooms are no where near up to date my bathroom smelled like a wet rag the staff is absolutely oblivious to anything going on around them. Felt like I was in a twilight zone with a bunch of idiots.
I have never been disrespected as much by any staff I wanted to check out earlier then 3 days but guess they can’t do that since they wanna charge me $ 300.00 for the other two nights when really their $ 56.00 per night.
Now I think no wonder they won’t refund me my money because they know this will be the first and last time I stay at this hotel.
I’m sure they’ve done it to multiple people. That’s why they’re Making me stay in this crapppy ass hotel. I think everyone would be better off at a motel 6. And the lake view? Really it’s a horrible view nothing about this hotel is pleasant no hot water when I had to take a shower and I still can’t get over how nasty the smell is. They need to fire the entire staff and get a new one with better a personality and better morals in their lives then to take people money that don’t want to stay. They can shove their policy right up all their ass’s PERIOD

If I could give no stars I would. Some of the staff members were nice however when it came to problems with the room or services it seemed they only listened and never took any action to fix it. This is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at in my life. Immediately you walk in you smell the mustiness of mold growing with this establishment. My room smelled just horrid and on top of that there was mold growing everywhere In bathroom which with that amount of mold takes 8 – 12 months to grow if not more. Shocked that they would give me a room in that state I walked to the front desk to show the General Manager of the Establishment with the pictures I took of what the state of the mold was in the bathroom. She dismissed it and just gave me a new room. I insisted she go and look at it herself however she didn’t seem to care which lead me to believe that she knows. I called my third party where I booked the hotel demanding a refund which they contacted the General Manager and she will only give a partial refund. Please read this review and do not stay at this hotel. Since I left the hotel I became drastically ill and went to the doctor to be diagnosed with a fungal infection. Should I sue? We shall see. I understand this is a cheap hotel to book but it’s not worth it when you have medical bills on top of that after you stay due to possible bacteria, fungus, and parasites living at this Inn.

Went there to play a couple games of pool, come to find out they changed there menu and brought in a new chef. I got the chicken nachos to start off, I could not believe how big they where. Best nachos I have ever had. Then I got the ribeye, it was on special for 13.00. It came with rice pilaf and broccoli, it was amazing. I sat down by the windows and the view of the lake is breath taking, the server and bartender was really nice. I will definitely be returning for dinner.

Place is disgusting. Bartenders were aloof and seemed drunk. Band was way to loud and horrible. Ive been in the restaurant business for 20 yrs. Fire your staff, hire a corporate manager, a cleaning crew and a maintenance crew. Then start over.

This has to be the dirtiest place ever. I wouldn’t let my dog eat there. Music is awful too. Stay away! And quite honestly I found the bar manager pretty rude!

Had reservation for this place had family members drive down so my nieces could go in pool staff told us pool was being renovated not only did they upgrade our room for same price but they called around to find us a pool and then once at the Y they let us all swim for free once i told them the situation. And Amy Weaver was very helpful her shift was done and she stayed to print my boarding passes and our driving directions. Only thing that was bad is they have a bar with karoke and real loud when in lobby especially if they are a bad singer

our first time there… we went for the pool tables… was pleasantly surprised… definitely mid-​renovations but you can see where they’re taking it. fun live music (not overly loud for the space), good and wide selection on the jukebox, decent selection on tap including newburyport green head ipa, mushroom ravioli was delicious, karaōke on wed and sun, live music fri n sat… and a 30×200ft raised deck to be built overlooking the lake… yes, 30×200.
and the pool tables are great ($ 1/game)…even though my husband smoked me 3 games to none. whatever.
