Great menu choices. Food is fresh and delicious. A very nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a try.

I have wanted to go into Cibo Café and Bistro since it opened, but never got the chance to swing over there. I grab coffee almost every day on my way to work from Dunkin Donuts or Starbucks. I realized today that Cibo is even closer to my house than Starbucks, so I’m ready to go back! The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and definitely lived up to my expectation. D’Amicis has always been a hot spot for breakfast sandwiches, in my opinion, so it only makes sense that they are sister companies. You could tell the egg and other ingredients were fresh. It didn’t fall apart when you bit into it or make a mess(which was perfect since I was on the road). The coffee was good and the atmosphere inside was delightful. They had plenty of seating, but you probably wouldn’t fit more than 4 people unless you pulled tables together. The menu was more extensive than I expected, so I will definitely be returning for lunch in the future. The service was decent, but they seemed pretty busy since they have the drive-thru as an option. My sandwich was worth 5 Stars on it’s own, so I will be returning. I highly recommend ‘The New Englander’ if you’re looking for a satisfying bite in the morning or for lunch. They serve breakfast all day and you won’t be disappointed!

I had driven by here in the recent past and had been meaning to stop by at some point and give it a try. Finally got here… First visit today 6÷7÷16: Friendly staff. Cozy environment. Excellent sandwich(BLT on white with avocado). Will come back and soon.

I’ve been here 4 times now. Tried something different every time and it’s all been delicious. Looks beautiful, tastes great. The staff is friendly and the service is pretty speedy. The fruit and yogurt bowls are my favorite.

My friend and I came in on a Thursday night. It was pretty quiet. We sat outside which was nice. My food was fine, but nothing terribly exciting. I would say it was similar to Panera but slightly higher quality.

Good food, great seating and clean! The only downfall is the staff– never had a friendly greeting or felt welcome. A little greeting when you walk in or even seem like you like what you do and not annoyed by the customer might help.

I’ve gotten both breakfast and lunch here and both were fabulous! The greenwood breakfast sandwich was so yummy and everything was so fresh. The chocolate peanut butter cookies are amazing! I love the outdoor seating for the warmer months. Super cute place!

It’s a hip sandwich/coffee shop with mostly high school students working behind the counter. The décor is modern and clean but the food overall were underwhelming. We got some salads which were all so tasteless that our friends wanted to send them back. My tuna melt was just okay. Turkey sandwiches were average. Overall for the price($ 10 per sandwich on average), the quality is just subpar.

I ordered an iced vanilla latte. The first drink they gave me was dark brown – did not look like a latte. I asked for more milk, turns out they were using skim milk. I asked them to please make me one with whole milk. The second latte had burnt espresso and no vanilla. And a surly server to go with it. I won’t be back.

I have enjoyed this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I loved sitting outside in the good weather. They recently added table service in the evening. Our waitress Nicole was awesome! In addition to the meals I’ve had, I loved the ricotta pie. My friend was excited to see they also offer call ahead and drive through pick up.

Everything I ordered was great(hummus plate, Greek salad, cannoli), but I was expecting a little more variety on the menu. I feel like the only thing that differentiates Cibo from the other D’Amici’s locations is that they can serve wine. However, I’ve heard great things about the breakfast items, so I’ll have to check that out! Very convenient that they have a pickup window.

So after 2 failed attempts to get a cup of coffee today in Wakefield my friend and I ended up at Cibo. I guess coffee shops in Wakefield all decided today was a holiday. Anyway, Cibo was a total score. A very cute little place. I will definitely return. So many offerings… everything was delicious. I had a BLT with avocado on ciabatta bread with a Nutella latte. My friend got a caprese salad that looked amazing as well. They also serve beer and wine. A very extensive menu including breakfast sandwiches that are served all day. It was tough to choose what to order.

I was in the mood for a café breakfast, so of course I searched the area on Unilocal! I had never heard of Cibo, but I must’ve driven by it before. It’s a cute little place with some parking in the back and even a drive through window! I got a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese, an apple turnover(darn those displays) and a dark hot chocolate. I delved into my apple turnover before they brought over my bagel and drink. It was what I had expected, so tasty! My bagel was also what I expected– I mean I got an average order. I was afraid my hot chocolate would be too rich because the options were dark or white, but it was cruelly even less chocolatey than I would expect a normal one to be. I liked it though, it even had a thin layer of frothy milk on top. My friend got the greenwood breakfast sandwich on what looked like a multigrain bread. She loved that they put lots of spinach in it! She had an iced coffee with almond milk(LOVE that they offer almond milk). She enjoyed the coffee. We sat in a booth. The whole café was clean and modern looking. It was quiet, and I expected a lot more people to be there on a Sunday morning before 10! But, I bet a lot of people just don’t know about it. I hope my review helps change that. I will definitely be back to try other offerings. They have an extensive drink menu that looks divine and lots of baked goods in the case: muffins, croissants, to name a couple. They even have a beer and wine menu! My drink, bagel and turnover came to about $ 7.86 which I think is very fair.

I’ve only been for breakfast, coffee and pastries so far. All are fantastic. The Greenwood is my favorite breakfast sandwich anywhere. Looks like maybe they poach the eggs for the sandwich? Not sure, but they are perfect. It’s big too. Great vibe in there. Tables, booths, some comfy seats. Wi-Fi…

This review is for the place itself, the staff, the coffee and sweets. I have not tried yet any sandwiches, salads or ‘proper food’ This place is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, very clean and modern in appearance. The staff is super nice and cheerful. Coffee is good and reasonably priced. There is a huge variety of sweets you can have with your coffee or after lunch(pies, cannolis, etc) The lunch menu looks very appealing and I will try it soon, and they have now extended hours so you can also go for a light dinner.

I heard about this café from some people at work and decided to give it a try myself. I had gotten a breakfast sandwich and a morning bun. The simplicity of the items I got were what made it really good. The spinach and avocado in the breakfast sandwich tasted super fresh and the cheese was perfectly melted. The morning bun wasn’t too sugary and was heavenly once warmed up. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because they don’t have turkey bacon but other than that I’d go back and try the Nutella coffee next time :)

Had a late breakfast here on a Sunday. The viva la France sandwich was very tasty. Good Latte as well. Fun to watch The Munsters episodes that were playing on a rainy Sunday. I am looking forward to coming back to try some of the lunch sandwiches and flatbreads. The extensive grilled cheese menu looks great!

What a great addition to Wakefield! We are quickly becoming regulars here. We mostly stop in for breakfast; I always get the greenwood and my husband gets the new englander. The food is always fresh, flavorful and piping hot when we get it. We’ve also had coffee, lattes and sandwiches for lunch. Everything has been awesome. On top of all that, there are always friendly faces at the counter. Great service. Yes, the prices here aren’t cheap. You get what you pay for. I’m happy to pay their prices for the consistently amazing food.

Hubby and I went here this weekend for breakfast. Both got coffees, i got the caramel latte, very good, nothing super amazing. He got the cinnamon hazelnut cloud iced coffee, which he LOVED! We both got the«Greenwood» breakfast sandwiches which were excellent and very fresh. I think the prices are in line with other small bistro kinda of places. Def not an every week outing but once in a while for sure! ONESIDENOTE: Not the best stuff playing on the TV when kids are around! Some indie type movie was playing about Ellis Island Immigration, lots and lots of nudity, like full nudity. Def not appropriate for the younger crowd.

I’m a software architect and I work from home. At least I used to… because nowadays I work from Cibo! The coffee’s excellent, the wifi’s fast, and the morning buns are good enough to make me realize I like cinnamon after all. Try the Greenwood, the signature breakfast sandwich, or any of the other tempting treats. The menu is as creative as it is varied so grab a copy on the way out to plan your next visits. Cibo also has a little secret for grown ups. Beer on tap and mimosas on Sundays. So lucky to have this in the neighborhood.
