Chambers Heating & AC Service

Clearly, they do not want any business. We were one of those people who suffered a nasty burst pipe over Valentines Day weekend when the temperature took an awful dip. It ruined our couch, rug and floor in our den. Our cast iron baseboard heating was shot. We finally got Chambers to come out when so many others were not available. A big gold star for that. He was very nice in telling us what needed to be done and in re-​piping our system so that we could get heat in the rest of my condo. They took lots of photos and measurements for the repair work that would be needed for that room — we would need new baseboard heating to replace old cast iron baseboard registers.
Whatever.
They never followed up. So, I called them back and made an appt. for them to come back out and really take another good look to get me an estimate for my insurance company. AND… They never showed. I called and got a return call two days later. They said they called another number and didn’t get an answer so they didn’t come out. When I talked to them — for quite a while– they agreed to review the photos and measurements to get us an estimate for the repair. I was reassured. AND … They never did get back to us. In fact, I never heard anything at all and we still have a check sitting here for the initial work!
I guess they are doing so well, they don’t need the work/​money. Must be a nice position to be in. I’ll drop the check in the mail for the initial visit, cuz I’m nice like that. Meanwhile, I trying to get the job done by somebody else. Go elsewhere.
UPDATE: Guess they need the cash after all. We never heard from them but they did call my neighbor in the condo looking for the $$$. The check was still sitting on my hall table; I guess my mailing skills are up there with their customer service skills.

A bit disappointed in Chambers. They were great in the beginning. My appointment got scheduled quickly. Kevin arrived on time and was super polite and nice. He seemed very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed and fixed a few minor issues with our central AC. Sadly, the system was still not funtioning properly.
Unfortunately, that is where the praise for Chambers ends. They were unable to figure out what was wrong. He «tried» to put freon in the system but said it didn’t take any. After he couldn’t get any freon in, it was time for him to leave. He told I would hear back after he talked to his brother to figure out next steps, but I never heard back.
I gave them a week to call me with some options for a fix. When I never heard from them I called another company who put 6lbs of freon into the system and got the low pressure switch from activating.
I was hoping Chambers was going to be our new AC contractors, but I guess our job wasn’t worth their time.

Stephen and Kevin are always quick to respond to my emergency calls! The service is always excellent, the cost is always reasonable, the work site is always left clean and they always take the time to be sure the problem is solved right.
I won’t have anyone else work on my heating and a.c. systems again!

We were very happy with the responsiveness and information we received upon our first meeting. Stephen was very honest and knowledgeable, and we were very pleased with the install of the new HVAC system in the condo. I would highly recommend Chambers heating and AC services.

Called in the morning and they said they would be there by 1pm. Arrived ON TIME and fixed the issues right away!

I am a first time homeowner! I first call Chambers last fall when my heat wasn’t working. Chambers Heating responded immediately and got my heat up and running. Kevin also educated me on how to maintain my HVAC.
Now it’s time for central air! Of course my system decides to stop working with an upcoming heat wave. Stephen responded immediately and got the system up and running! I will definitely use Chambers Heating&AC Serves in the future and would recommend them to friends and family.

We needed to replace our heating system in our Condominium building this year and contacted Chambers Heating & A Service. We were nervous at the beginning because it was a very expensive job and we did not have any previous experience in this business. Stephen, the owner, came 3 – 4 times to meet with our trustees and explained all details, answered our multiple questions.
The guys did a wonderful job. You can see the photos of the system they installed on their website.
Kevin was the best. He was at the site every day. He is very friendly and very knowledgeable, loves what he does. He still comes to check on the system periodically.
The guys were so professional we did not even notice the transition from old to a new system.
I would highly recommend this company. They are very responsible, the best workers you can trust.

I made an appointment with these guys at least 3 weeks in advance of the date I wanted, which they confirmed. Day of the appointment comes, I have to stay home from work because it’s a 9am appointment, which would have been fine if they actually came.
9:40 comes, they’re still not there. No phone call, no nothing. I call them, they basically say they’re busy and not coming. If they knew they would not be able to make the appointment time, I would have appreciated a call saying so. I understand and appreciate that HVAC jobs can be very long and complex and calling a customer in the middle of a job takes time, but that doesn’t excuse a company from not at least letting customers know if they can’t honor an appointment time. They’re running a business after all.
Their website looks good and it looks like they do good work, and I’m sure they do, so I was actually excited for them to come give me an estimate. However, I’m not doing business with a company that will not honor appointments with no notice.
Needless to say I canceled the appointment and will never contact this company for business again.

I previously leased my spa space from another location, which is where I came accross Chambers heating & AC. They were hired from the owner of the building to redo the entire building and they were so trusting and friendly. I was very nervous at first not knowing them and having them in my space because I had lots of products and expensive equipment at their finger tips, but after a few days knew I had nothing to worry about. They were brothers which I didn’t realize til weeks into the job, Steve and Kevin helped us with heavy boxes and things that didn’t even pertain to their job just to help us out. One of my assistants also hired them to do work at thier home.
Three years later I moved into a larger space and called them to help out with my needs there for building inspection and they came the next day.
Earlier this summer our old AC broke during the hottest week ever, which made it very difficult for my employees and clients to enjoy their services, I got desperate to call them on that Saturday because it was a Holiday weekend. They showed up and got our AC back like new on Sunday and Monday of the holiday weekend. One thing I can say about these guys is they were very professional, truly treated me and my business as if it was there own. They understood how important it was that we immediately fix the problem.
I can’t promise you they will be there on a Holiday weekend, but I can promise you they will do the best job! You will be very happy!
