Buckley Heating & Cooling

Great customer service from Lynn! We are college students who had had a few issues in the past, but thanks to Lynn’s great customer service skills, all is resolved. Much appreciated and great service!

Let me be clear: when I had a receipt yesterday from Buckley heating and cooling for an oil fill –up, I was enraged. I’m a renter and I do not have a service agreement or a statement in my lease that says I will have Buckley make auto-​delivery to my tank. I called first thing this morning to sort it out. Buckley is notorious for having the most expensive fuel in RI and up until today, I was of the opinion that unless it was in my rental contract that I had to use them, I would never use Buckley. When I called, the rep was super nice and I informed him that I never asked for a fill-​up and I never signed a service contract with them, and that I could get fuel at 50% of the cost at myriad other fuelers around the state. He put me on hold, and by the end of the conversation they agreed to match the other company I had been quoted with for the fuel they dropped off yesterday, and also for all future deliveries. If they don’t keep to this agreement (they’re sending it to me in writing) I will definitely update this post. However, as of this writing I’m super impressed with their customer service and flexibility.
Update: I hadn’t received a bill yet (2 weeks past) and called to ask (was worried that I was just given lip service about the changes to my bill) but they stated bills go out at the end of the month, and that my adjust bill amount was price-​matched. Still happy!

We were new customers and had not used propane before. We had a problem with our budget plan and were dissatisfied with a heater repair. When they found out, the service manager called us immediately and moved heaven and earth to make things right. They went above and beyond to help straighten things out. We were considering changing our supplier but, based on our experience with their customer service, we’ll be staying with Buckley.
