I totally forgot to check in but I digress. I stopped in while on lunch in search for some walking shoes for my 9 ½ month old. I found a few pair online that I like, but if I can find some locally to avoid s&h I will definitely do that. I’ve been to this location only twice and each time it has always been clean and neat. No items thrown on the floor as in some stores. Very spacious and open, not cluttered or congested. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any shoes for my son, but I did luck up and found a couple of bargains. A 3 pack of Nuby sippy cups under $ 7(Which normally one would cost that) and a cute outfit for $ 2! So, I can say it was worth the trip plus the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

This tj Maxx is amazing. It’s not a runway Maxx, however it is only a few designer bags short of being so. This is my go to even living in downtown Raleigh.

The new TJ Maxx at Wake Forest Crossing is everything you’d expect from the retailer, plus a bit more. High-end brands like Kate Spade and Versace and mingled with the mass appeal labels and not locked behind glass or isolated to the Runway section. The glossy new finishes in the store are a welcoming change from the tired Falls of Neuse location in Raleigh. Only drawback, there isn’t a Home Goods in the shopping center and the home section of the store is average size. I visited on opening day and the store was well staffed and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Given the huge crowd, and the way the staff managed it, I’d say this location will do very well. Wake Forest Crossing is going through a major transformation and it feels like it could end up being the next Brier Creek because there is still so much open space. In addition to TJ Maxx, Petco, Kirkland’s, Ross, Rack Room Shoes, are all in the process of opening.
