Love their bagels!!! These people writing bad reviews are crazy! The owner is always nice and the staff too! Def a great place for morning coffee and bagel!

If you are looking for a quick bite this is not the place for you. It usually takes them 20 minutes to prepare our order of 3 sandwiches. If you are looking for a yummy bagel sandwich or a sandwich on other bread and have time give this place a try. I am not a bagel expert but these are our favorite NY bagels in the Triangle. My husband loves the Nova Lox bagel — it comes with lox, cream cheese, onions, capers, lettuce, and tomato. He craves this bagel and no one makes this quite like Courtney’s. My father is a fan of the pastrami Reuben on rye. I’ve had it a couple times too — all the ingredients are balanced and it’s never drowning in dressing or kraut. I’ve enjoyed the chicken salad on a bagel as well as the Empire State(turkey, bacon, cheese on a roll with lt). I think the coffee options could be improved. It would be nice if they offered ice tea freshly brewed. Though they have a large selection of bottled drinks they do not really appeal to me.

Bagels are good, service is not. Standing in line for 10 min behind one customer, and not be acknowledged, just to order, is ridiculous. Walked out, should have left 5 minutes earlier. This was not even the busy lunch time!

The food is absolutely delicious. However, the service is deplorable. The servers have a terrible attitude. On weekends there are at least 6 people behind the counter available to take orders and they all share the same ‘bothered’ facial expression while you order. They do not write anything down while taking orders so expect your sandwich to be incorrect. They also make you repeat your entire order at least three times while it is being prepared as they forget it… because they don’t write it down. There is also no semblance of a line. Its a free for all at the counter. Watched a lady walk in and go right around everyone standing around trying to order only to be helped right away.

I am pregnant and have been craving a everything bagel with scallion cream cheese from Long Island. Since I now live 500 miles away I decided to give this place a try. I stopped in around 2 in the afternoon and there was actually nobody else in there which doesn’t surprise me because bagel stores usually wine down in the afternoon I used to work in one back in the day. Anyway it appeared clean and I was greeted by a male clerk. I placed my order for a everything bagel with scallion cream cheese plus a dozen everything bagels to go! He went in the back and made my bagel for me then loaded up my everything bagels which I happen to clear them out of and when I got home I realized he gave me an extra one so thank you for that. Don’t judge me but I ate my bagel on the ride home ha! It was actually really delicious and pretty darn close to a New York bagel I have to say they have great food. As I was driving home I was actually mad at myself for not getting a tub of the scallion cream cheese to take home but I will be back. So all in all I had a good experience here and I will absolutely be back for more!

Very bad service, unfriendly and argumentative staff. Definitely no southern hospitality. Food was just ok, nothing to want to go back for. Charged $ 3 for a bottle of SoBe lifewater. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone.

having just moved to the area from NH, we were looking for a solid breakfast sandwich place, and we have found it here! their bagels are delicious, home made fresh every day, and their pastries are outstanding as well. this will be a regular stop for us!

Great food and friendly service. If you miss NY bagels and great breakfast and lunch sandwiches this is the place for you! Have to laugh at the most recent negative review about business cards going in the trash. I am sure that character was not unsavory at all!

I called before we left to see if they had lox… they said they did so we headed over there… When we got there I asked if they had onions tomatoes and capers… apparently they’d don’t have capers… ok no problem… I can’t believe I didn’t check before i left… but when I got home… I had a bagel with lox smear… non toasted… no tomato And onion… ughhhhh.

I cannot remember the last time I saw a business as unorganized as this one. Also one with such poor customer service. They could care less that you are there. I used to stop here regularly in the mornings but the service has continued to get worse. Today is the last time I visit here until something changes.

My favorite local spot for breakfast or lunch. The best bagels in the area– and I’m from CT. Highly recommend the egg salad if you like that sort of thing. Prices are reasonable. It can get hectic but overall the staff is great.

Courtney’s NY Bagels. Don’t buy in to the negative reviews. Ever since Courtney and her family took over the service is fantastic. If it seems chaotic it’s because they stay very busy because the bagels are the best anywhere around! I am from Long Island so I know good bagels. Also, the prices are very fair. Who is on here complaining about a delicious $ 5 bacon egg and cheese?

Bagels are good. But, you better have patience, the ordering system is a disaster. No orderly line, a cluster of people with no idea who’s next. Not worth the effort most mornings.

I already posted a review, but must say, I really do not understand how anyone can write that you receive poor service this deli… grant you, sometimes they do get crowed, but they certainly do their best to serve you in a timely way… believe me, I can speak for many eating establishments in WF, and this is the friendliest place and the service is good… also, the deserts, especially the cookies are the best…

Bagels are great but the service is horrible. We used to come here all the time but we think they changed owners and the service suffered tremendously, so we don’t come here much anymore. We think others have noticed it too because it doesn’t seem to be nearly as busy as it used to be.

The bagels are great; if you can get someone to wait on you. I stood at the counter and watched three people come in and get waited on before me. When I finally shouted a would like a bagel they said they thought someone else was helping me.

The best bagels in our area. The coffee is good. It is a bit pricey for the egg sanwiches. They could use better organization– one cashier– person to sell and bag bagels; another to make sandwiches. That would he more efficient and more sanitary than having the same person run from handling $ to the back to cook! Or maybe use the extra register? Staff are friendly. Update: Stopped by this Sunday– I was in a rush and with not much open in WF on a Sunday morning I had to chance it… Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised to see that all registers were open and the staff were really on the ball– I got my items really quickly. the service was efficient yet friendly– and the bagels were delicious, of course– Bravo!

Bagels are great here! What is not very good is the ordering system and customer service. They would greatly benefit to having one person being the dedicated to taking orders and money. Instead they have people running back and forth between the register and the kitchen with orders. Also most of the staff seems bothered that they are having to serve guest. No smiles or even a thanks or welcome. I also stood in line for 15 minutes to get a dozen bagels. There were 4 people ahead of me in line. Quite a wait. I am giving three stars because the bagels are very tasty and well made. Just be prepared to wait and not get a smile.

The best Bagel I’ve had in the area so far. The bagels are done correctly. just the right amount of chewiness and the flavors are robust. not too bready and not too bland. NY has it’s share of lame Bagel joints. Not only is NY Bagel and Deli good for an NC Bagel I would go here even if I was in NY. My experience with the service wasn’t anything like I’ve seen previously mentioned. The person who helped me was super nice. It’s worth the trip if it’s out of the way if you crave a legit bagel.

It’s authentic New York bagels with authentic New York attitude! The bagels are definitely really good, like I used to have back in Connecticut, but its hit or miss on who serves you.
