Handyman Matters of North Raleigh is a military-​veteran owned and operated local business. Owners Mike and Deborah Connell believe that people matter: «Customers, suppliers, even competitors are all people– we treat them how we would want to be treated. At its core this business is about helping people, whether it’s seniors who want to stay in their houses longer, or families who are growing and need to rework their spaces, or even just finally fixing that door that sticks and has been bothering you for years. Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Mike holds a degree in business from Campbell University and served on active duty in the Army as a Forward Observer, most recently stationed at nearby Fort Bragg with the 82^nd Airborne Division. After leaving the military he spent over 10 years in professional technical sales with global industrial manufacturer Swagelok, moving into branch, and finally operations management. When it came time to move up again in the company, which would mean moving and uprooting the family, he made the decision to find a career he could be more passionate about. «Our family of seven loves living in this area surrounded by our extended family and wonderful friends. We greatly value our faith family at Saint Catherine of Siena, our schools, and our community, and we look forward to being able to serve and give back to make it an even better place to live.»
