History

Established in 1994.

What’s in a name? Well, ciPro comes from the video production company I’ve been doing web design and development for since ’94 — creative illusions Productions. I’ve built sites and web content for companies like BellSouth, Turner Broadcasting, the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, the FBI and more. I like to maintain a relatively low customer base so that I can provide more personal service to my clients.

I’ve been a firefighter, paramedic, landscaper, factory worker, retail clerk, fast food cook, phlebotomist, and others. Many years ago I finally settled on a career path that I’d never once considered — digital production. Early on that opened up to web design, which has since been one of my passions. Having started in that field writing code by hand, I watched the technology grow beyond the need for that platform. Tools that enable web design without much, if any, manual code to be written have enabled much more work to be done faster, and at a much lower cost. I’ve embraced this technology, instead of rejecting it as many web designer/​developers have.
