Fabulous deli-style lunch counter, as well as a great selection of pantry essentials and bulk good. Incredibly fresh and healthy… we are there often and are so glad to have them in Waitsfield!

This is hands down our favorite vegan place in the world. The food is incredible, tasty and healthy. The owners are one in a million. Sweet Pea provides service with a smile, top quality products and helpful advice and direction if needed. I highly recommend them and often DO.

Exceptional prepared food – just unbelievably good desserts and a really delicious hot bar as well.(Which is pretty hard to pull off.) The packaged groceries and produce looked to be on the more expensive side to me and I didn’t see anything that exotic so I’m not sure if it’s worth the mark up, but I was a visitor to the area so I’m not familiar with what local alternatives there are. But I’ve eaten vegan food all over the world, and their café produces amazing stuff. Brown rice pasta lasagna, flavorful tempeh, super fresh tomatoes and cucumber salads, outrageously good peanut butter cookie… I was in heaven. Would be a regular there for sure if I lived closer. Very friendly staff, too.

Vegans — yum, yum, yum! We stopped in to re supply our camping food with English muffins and vegan sausage. When we saw their hot bar and all of the vegan options, we decided we should nourish ourselves before our hike up Mt. Mansfield. We got a burrito and soup. Both were delicious. We will definitely stop back in when we are near Waitsfield.

Great food, friendly and helpful. I don’t usually go to health food stores, but this place is exceptional.

Fantastic health food store and take-out foods. If you are looking for something healthy or veggie to go, there are lots of prepared foods but don’t pass up the sandwiches. The«Raw Revolution» sandwich is incredible. Really. Also many premade desserts. A vegan strawberry shortcake cupcake was revelatory. There is also a big selection of uncocked food, vitamins, and so on. Before leaving town I picked up a few items for home just because it was convenient. The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful.

Always has the hard to find natural items that would take you to the more well known places like whole foods. But they are too far away. I would give them 5 stars but the vegetables do not look as if they get enough turn over every time I go there.

Two words: Kale lemonade! This place is a daily stop on our summer trips to the Mad River valley. Delicious, vegetarian hot lunch options, fresh organic veggies, breads, coffee, teas and supplements that will help you cancel out most of your vices. It’s a pleasure to support a place that supports a higher consciousness.

This is a wonderful place, especially for vegetarians, and everything is delicious! The staff are so incredibly nice, and we met the woman who made their vegan strawberry muffins which are AMAZING! I don’t even love muffins that much. We usually spend one week a year in Waitsfield and each year they have more options. We were especially pleased with their new café area. The prices are a little higher than health food stores in larger cities, but for the location and offerings, we are happy to support them. If you are in Waitsfield, go!

Great little place in a ski resort town, they seem to expand their offerings each time I visit. Their prepared foods section is mostly vegan, and I gotta tell you, I LOVE my meats and fishes and eggs and stuff, but they make vegan VERY tasty. The prices are a bit high, and the fresh produce sometimes gets a little old, but I think this will improve over time as they get more volume. They emphasize local products, too, which Vermont seems to be embracing more and more.

This place is my go to salad bar in the area. It’s super fresh and it has yummy hot vegetarian food as well, maybe even soup — I don’t recall. As far as the market is concerned, it does have a wide assortment and they carry items that the local markets don’t have, which is great. Check out the prepared cold food case, the local meats, fresh baked goods near the register and the secret garden(with tables) out back.

Great local fresh products, and a good selection of prepared foods too. A really good option for veggies and those seeking organic fresh products. The soups are good, but it was a quinoa salad that really sold me. It’s not a huge store, but a good lunch option and/or place to pick up some special items. And they have wine too. I picked out some crappy tasting sulfur-free kinds(or some organic thing like that) — but I won’t hold my lack of wine skills against them…
