I placed an order for the Cowgirl Cookie Truffles about two weeks ago, after seeing them on Beyond the Tank. I am neither a vegan, nor gluten free, so I was a bit leery about trying these. They offer free shipping, which is awesome! Got the box on about four days, tried the first one… OMG, so good! Basically tastes like cookie dough covered in dark chocolate. Took them to a party the next night, and they were the hit of the party. Will definitely be ordering again!

OMG — the best gluten free, dairy free cookies that I’ve ever tasted. They are moist, flavorful and don’t have the funny aftertaste that most gluten free cookies have. AND, they are really fresh.

Need a dessert for a gathering where the restrictions are: vegan, no-​corn, no-​tree nuts, and, oh, of course, NO-​GLUTEN. Yeah, seriously, bring bottled water. I kid, I kid. You can rely on Liz Lovely desserts to save the day (or meeting!). I am so grateful that they ship most anywhere in the US, and I am super grateful that their products are allergy friendly. And yes, their stuff tastes good. You’ll forget it is vegan and gluten free. (I don’t think ALL their stuff is gluten free, but it is vegan and tastes *better* than some non-​vegan desserts I’ve had in the past!).

I’ve had celiac for 8 years now so I get super excited when a new gf product finally hits store shelves. I was excited to try these cookies and bought a package of the snickerdoodle and the peanut butter, but sadly I was not impressed. The cookies were dry, gritty, and had an unpleasant after-​taste. Definitely not worth the price. I understand they are targeting a vegan audience, so maybe for vegans these cookies are awesome, but to me, this product leaves a lot to be desired. I think it would be a lot better if they made the gf version with real eggs and milk. Plus like another reviewer said, the calorie count is way too high for what you’re eating.

The pros: it tastes like a cookie.

I wanted to like these cookies (snickerdoodle and chocolate chip flavors), but as I took the first bite, I noticed they were *super* sweet and grainy/​crunchy in texture, as if I were eating a mouthful of sugar — excuse me, «evaporated cane juice» — crystals with a little flour mixed in to hold it together.
I checked the package and saw not only that sugar was the first ingredient — that’s right, the first ingredient — but that the serving size is ½ of a cookie. These are not large cookies; they’re maybe 3″ in diameter at most.
More than that, each «serving» contains 18 grams of sugar, meaning that each cookie contains 36 grams, about as much sugar as your average can of soda.
Keep in mind that these come two to a packet (at least as I had them), and therefore the odds of someone eating both in one sitting may be fairly high. So you would then be ingesting the following x2:
Calories per cookie: 400 – 420
Calories from fat (palm oil): 100 – 180
Grams of sugar: 36 (roughly 10 – 12 packets’ worth)
I would not be so hard on this brand if it weren’t for the fact that it wraps itself up in so many feel-​good buzzwords on the label, and «baking a difference» is its slogan. Well, IMO it’s a pile of plain old sugar masquerading as a cookie, it’s horrible for your health, and it’s not very «different» from most of the «other stuff» out there. Technically each ingredient may not be synthetic, but there’s really nothing «all natural» about consuming this many concentrated empty-​calories in one sitting IMO.

These are incredible. I have had the chocolate chip and the oatmeal and they might be the best things I’ve put in my mouth in a long time.
When i first bit the chocolate chip cookie, I though «OMG they’re not cooked!» Then I realized that they were, they were just that darn good (I love undercooked cookies/​brownies).
The oatmeal are soft and chewy and moist. There are walnuts in them, but in such small chunks that there is no crunch. I don’t like crunch in my soft. I do wish that they had a regular oatmeal with no nuts. They don’t provide much of anything other than limiting who can eat them because of food allergies (my husband — I feel so bad for him because he can’t have one!).

Tried the Snicker dudes cookie as my teenager is 16 and is now Gluten free, diary free and yeast free. She was in heaven!!! There are not too many choices for these dietary restrictions so Thank-​you. Would love to see the price a little more affordable so we can buy them all the time instead of a occasional treat. So glad its non gmo as well.

All of Liz Lovely’s cookies are now gluten free, and believe me, these cookies are rich, moist and better than anything my Granny has ever made, for sure. I do not know how anyone perfected Granny in the cookie baking department, but it has happened, and the winner is Liz.
God, are they expensive… but indulge when you can and thank your lucky stars that Liz is promoting a vegan, gluten free chunk of sweet flavor for you and anyone you know, gluten free or not.

I’ve had a lot of gluten-​free treats by chance, because I’m currently dairy-​free by necessity and the two categories often overlap. I hate that they overlap, because the texture of gluten free food is not good. However, these cookies taste BETTER than any cookie I’ve ever eaten containing dairy and/​or gluten. Crazy indulgent, crazy rich, crazy soft and chewy and smooth. I cannot say enough about how shockingly good these are, for vegan gluten free products! The peanut butter chocolate is a little too melty for me– I recommend the triple mint chocolate or chocolate fudge!

Liz Lovely’s Cowboy Cookies– if you haven’t tried them yet, you haven’t lived.

I used to buy these at the Park Slope Food Co-​op in NY. They are so delicious that I seriously cannot handle it. The Cowgirl Cookies (choc chip) are VEGAN and they taste like raw cookie dough. This does not make them healthy, but it does make me surprised by how amazing they are. I cannot think of a better cookie made by someone I don’t know. I have often thought of visiting the bakery and checking it out.
I am not a vegan, but I still love these. They JUST starting selling the reg ones (not gluten-​free, which are not my fave) at Rainbow Grocery in SF. I am SO happy about this because I didn’t feel like I could order them in the mail. I am not that much of a fatty.
Liz Lovely, you are a gem! I hope you will visit SF soon and do a cooking demo! PLEASE!

The best ever because the chocolate cookie and the chocolate covering are DEEPLY satisfying. Texture: A+++ too.
Now I have to order some. (All my omni friends and family eat them up too.) Good thing I give lots of them for Christmas.

I found these cookies at Good Health in Quincy — Since vegan cookies usually taste like cardboard, I sample as many as I can trying to find the best one ever — I can now stop searching. I don’t care how much they cost — I would sell my first born for the oatmeal cookie. I have never ever tasted cookies (even non-​vegan ones) that were so chewy, so fresh, so buttery (even tho there’s no butter, don’t know how they do it), so damn tasty and so damn orgasmic. I can finally die a fat & happy girl…

From faux meat to nut and grain milks, there are many great alternatvie options for vegans in the market. However, I felt like vegan cookies didn’t reach the level. Often times, I felt like I was eating a cardboard box, covered in chocolate. This was all before I found out about Liz Lovely’s cookies.
By far, Liz Lovely cookies are the best vegan cookies I’ve ever had. In fact, it’s probably the best cookies I’ve had — including non-​vegan and vegan. I screamed «I can’t believe it’s vegan cookie!» few times while I slowly engulfed these generously-​sized cookies. My absolute favorite is Cowgirl Cookies, which is basically a chewy chocolate chip cookie. On top of all that, eating three or more Liz Lovely cookies don’t make me feel guilty, because they are healthier than your ordinary cookies. They contain no trans fat and they are certified organic.

It now appears that current day Vegans are not only paltry and uninformed but unconsciously lured by smaller packets of herd histrionics. It saddens me to no end that my fellow brethren are spastic emu doppelgangers, not omitting a single grammatical valve in all that lengthy segmented definition entails. Now, where were we? These bitches OFF THE CHAIN EXPENSIVE. No wonder people don’t buy them. Even though a thimble of mousse at the gratitude is twofold exorbitant, it still proposes a semitic je né sais. It is really strange that ener-​g and earth balance are both in the ingredients (patented material seems churlish, but the people that matter will know that these two items are exalted phenomena.)Imagine an opened bag of the Uncle eddies line drowned in a pond of congealed plant adipose, then a furiously routine black strap embalming trial followed by a constrictive cacao sarcophagus finale. In vain do you resist that panoptic erogenous ruffle, unfortunately the package not equipped with towel or dull blade. Get the soft chocolate chip.
You can pick one up at health haven on divis. Snag a pack for Maria D when you are around there because i didn’t. Omnivores are normally content with Chips Ahoy, so at the time I felt it was asinine.
