Finally got around to writing a review. Chris and his team were terrific. He came by to give me estimates for a vinyl fence which was considerably less than their competitors. I asked for separate quotes for front and back locations and if any discounts if I did them both. Added on a cement slab… might as well get them done at the same time and from the same team. They took care of the permits and zoning. Took awhile for the permits but it was probably due to C&C delays… and it was included in the cost. Very patient and responsive to all my emails and questions. Job completed… excellent no issues. Definitely recommend them!

Needing a fence at our new old house in Hawaii Kai, we called the usual big box stores and another local company for quotes. Each quote seemed to lack something — such as the quality of materials or warranty on labor. We searched Unilocal and read about Vinyl Tech but hesitated because they seemed too far away from Hawaii Kai.
We called anyway and Tyler promptly came out, quoted the lowest price and 5 year warranty on labor and materials. No brainer. We needed the fence in a hurry for our dog, so Tyler squeezed us into their busy schedule. The installers were amazingly efficient and hard-​working despite the 90+ degree and high humidity weather in August, as well as some issues with our neighbor. We are so thankful and we can highly recommend Vinyl Tech. The fence looks great and we noticed that it turns heads of neighbors driving by. Mahalo Tyler, Chris, and team!

Read great reviews on Unilocal so decided to contact them online for a free estimate. Tyler called back and scheduled an onsite assessment two days later. He showed up promptly and submitted an estimate a couple days later.
Asked some questions in 3 subsequent emails. No response. Finally got an email 10 days later to sign a proposal if I wanted to proceed. Still no answers to my original questions. Only reply one day later from a 4^th email I sent that they only take cash or check.
I signed and want to get this rolling but no response for 8 days. After 4 weeks of chasing them I finally notified them to cancel and went on to look at alternatives.
My job may have been too small but still cost $ 1800. They lost my business and my positive referrals in my neighborhood.

Needed a privacy fence put on Moss rock wall that was behind my home, called several people on Craigslist an got some estimates but they didn’t offer a warranty on their work, looked at Unilocal and found Vinly Teck & Masonry. Called and got Chris on the phone and told him what I wanted and he came over to do an estimate, he was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done and gave me an estimate which was better than the people on Craigslist offered. It also came with a solid warranty on material and workmanship, this company is top notch and I highly recommend them to anyone needing fencing or masonry work. Chris and his team did an excellent job installing a paddock for my horses. The workers were very good, neat and efficient. Communication up to installation and after super. They are very busy but having Vinyl Tech do your job is worth the wait.

Hey there. I have never taken the time to write a review of a company before, but I feel these guys deserve one. From the outset their combination of customer service, extremely competitive pricing, and expertise was top of the line. Chris, Dale, and their crews did exactly what you would want when spending money on your house. Business, yes of course, but they ensured i was comfortable with every step, adjusted to our time demands, and saved me a notable amount of money over the other estimates I received from other companies. We had a 6 foot semi private vinyl fence installed that included quite a few obstacles property wise, and they adjusted professionally, and on time to all challenges. Highly recommended. Vinyl Tech & Masonry recently put a semi-​private fence up at my house, about 60′ long and 6′ high on an existing moss rock wall, as well as a 4′ gate. Chris came over on a weekend to measure and followed up with a quote. He provided detailed drawings for MTA permit that I submitted and he took care of city permit side. Workers arrived early, worked hard and I couldn’t believe how efficient they were in putting the fence up. Only took them a day and a few hours the next to finish. I would recommend them to family, friends, anyone. Just know that they are busy and the permits may take some time so you have to be patient as the whole process took about three months. Trust me, well worth the wait. Our home looks great and feels better thanks to Vinyl Tech & Masonry. I’ve already had in one week three neighbors comment on how nice it looks. Chris and Tyler and their guys got the job done, good quality vinyl fence combined with a black aluminum along the back. Professional job, friendly, knowledgeable crew. They took care of licensing once we got the HOA approval. This is a family business so Chris takes the quality personally, since his name is on the work. Recommend them to anybody needing fence installation.

My husband called many people to get a quote for building a fence on our property. No one returned our calls, and no one was able to come out to see the property. It was a particularly rainy time in Mililani Mauka so some tried to make a quote over the phone, site unseen… But enough about the competition…
My husband finally called Chris and he was so professional. Chris came out to the house, showed up on time, measured the fence, made some suggestions, gave a general estimate, and then wrote up a contract and emailed it to us within a week. He was totally willing to go with whatever kind of fence we wanted, was patient and accommodating for the HOA approval process, and was on time at every step of the way. Putting up a fence with a custom section in it like ours isn’t a necessarily fast process– from first call to final install it took about 3 months. But the great thing was that they installed on the schedule they set, and the crew always showed up on time.
Oh, and the price was fair to top it off. The quotes we did get from some others were about the same (a little bit more actually).

When we began looking into our fencing options, we were happy to find Vinyl Tech & Masonry. These guys have been in business for a good long time, and regularly handle large contracts (doing subdivisions and commercial work) — which assured us that they were up to the task. Prior to calling, I actually wondered whether or not they’d take on my small residential job. Chris came out to meet with us, and gave us a number of fencing options. We offered our main requirements: low maintenance, two gates, with all gaps small enough that the dog doesn’t escape. He got back to us with a detailed estimate, which we were happy with. We met again to finalize details, and work began. For the low-​maintenance part, Chris recommended that a low concrete curb be installed beneath the vinyl to prevent grass from growing under and around fence posts. Masonry work and fence installation were top notch, all of our needs were met. The crew worked hard, did great work, and took time to tidy up. We went from having an older, unappealing backyard (which we almost never spent time in) to having a usable outdoor space for our dog to run in and for the kids to play in without worry. I’ll vouch for their work, and will recommend them to anyone looking for a good, high quality vinyl fence.

Chris was the first and last person my husband got a quote from. From their first meeting my husband already knew that Vinyl Tech was the right company for the job.
A few months later my husband suddenly passed away. We are still completely devastated and lost but this project was the only thing I could focus on because I knew how excited my husband was about it.
They were able to start immediately, dates were set and met with no interruptions. The crew worked fast, efficient and always respectful! Once our project was completed, Chris met up with me for a final walk through. I had a couple things I wanted done, he was able to get the guys out to fix it that week.
December 5 was the day we did our final walk through. Everything turned out perfect, I could not ask for anything better. We definitely turn heads on our block. I know my husband would have loved it as well, it was his Christmas gift from us.

These guys are top notch. They put up our vinyl fence on Pali Highway in 2 days, as quoted and did a spectacular job putting up the mailbox as well. They were the lowest quote and it’s not one of those you get what you pay for jobs. Their work is excellent, their fencing is excellent, and their customer service is excellent. We couldn’t be happier. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking to put up vinyl fencing.

I had them install 90 feet of full-​private vinyl fencing, with two gates. The job was done in two days and looks spectacular! I don’t know how they worked so quick but am not going to complain. Also, they offer 5 year warranty on installation and 30 year warranty on materials. That gives me piece of mind. I should also point out that I had the general contactor who did my extension give me a quote that was maybe $ 500 cheaper. However, he was saying it would take at least a week and was not giving me any type of warranty. I also felt more comfortable going with someone who specializes in installing fences, versus someone who does a fence a couple times a year.
