Upright Fencing

Upright Fencing used to be my go-​to company whenever I needed fencing work done. Fair pricing, good material and workmanship, and prompt service… however, I gave up after calling them 6 times to follow up on a referral. So unfortunate that customer service has taken such a dive.

The product and the delivery of the service was excellent. This company and the owner had done above and beyond of what we expected that saved us from previous mishaps and made sure that we are satisfied with the finished product. Very reliable and we are so pleased with the transaction. Highly recommended! Much Mahalo!

I had my vinyl fence installed by Upright Fencing about three weeks ago and have been meaning to write a review because I was so impressed with their service and quality of workmanship. I don’t normally critique service, good or bad. But lately, i find comments on Unilocal so helpful in selecting a vendor or company that offers the same service, that I thought I’d do a good deed and give someone looking for a good fencing contractor a helping hand.
Lindy Risner is the owner of Upright Fencing, and he is professionial, easy to talk to, and reasonable. Call him for an estimate and he will personally measure and submit a written estimate within a day. I had requested two other estimates, and his was the more reasonable and comprehensive, at least half the cost of another estimate I had received that same day. I cannot believe the variance in estimates for the same work and basically the same quality of product. He also gets the permit for you and DOES NOT CHARGE EXTRA for that service, unlike other contractors. That other contractor would have charged me twice as much for getting the same permit!
Upright Fencing did a great job. I just purchased my home prior to fencing the yard, and did not think to tell my neighbors that I would be installing a fence. Duh. When my neighbor questioned them in the midst of their installation and informed them that it was THEIR stonewall upon which they were installing the fence, Lindy very calmly spoke to the neighbor and obtained their permission and compliance — something I should have done BEFORE they started the job.
Within a few days the job was done and the area cleaned. I am very happy with the result. The workmanship is excellent. The service unsurpassed. Their price outstanding. I would recommend this company to anyone who is interested in beautifying their yard or securing their property. They are great!

Price was good but quality was so-​so. Gate sagged within first 6 months. Upright came out and made some changes to the gate and that worked for about 6 months. Turns out they didn’t use rebar in the gate posts so posts sagged and gate will not close now. Couldn’t get them to return phone call.
