I have naturally thick dark brown hair. Typically, whenever I would visit other salons they would always charged me around $ 208. I’ve always explained to the stylist I wanted to be lighter & blonder. Never were they able to take me blonde. Blonde highlights, blonde ombré is what they gave me.
It wasn’t until my girlfriends mentioned Julie from Studio Glam. Both my girlfriends went to her, i loved their hair & how affordable her services were/​are. Not to mention she cares for your hair & keeping it healthy. I’ve since been to her 3x’s.
Prior to my first appointment with her, I went in for a hair consultation which she assessed my hair. We set up an appointment & that’s when she lightened my hair. Second time around, I would follow up with her for my hair treatment. & My most recent visit, I went much blonder. I am now rocking a two toned blonde that I absolutely love!
Usually, I spend around 4 – 5 hours at the salon. lol thick, full hair problems! But, totally worth it because my hair is left feeling lighter & much healthier. Julie never disappoints. & because I always schedule for a Saturday, it’s always busy. That’s expected because she is a bomb stylist!
Julie’s team are all so helpful & so kind! I love the close knit family feel. This past time Julie was busy & two of the stylist helped with shampooing & blow drying my hair. They did a hell of a good job massaging my head & hair. My hair felt, smelt & looked good!

2 words… RUSSELL. SHARPE. He gave my son his best haircut ever. Looking for a right fade and a crisp line up? Look no further. Russell was prompt, patient and a perfectionist. I won’t be taking my son anywhere else. And for only $ 15? Supercuts can suck it.

heheh. very fun and unique. Russell did my bf’s hair and just like all the guys now days like there hair faded. he did a extremely well job on my boyfriend. russell did my bf’s hair and he came out looking totally different in a good way that hair cut did wonders for him. my son also got his hair cut by the same guy. my son hates getting hair cuts. but he was patient it took for ever to get my son on the seat and even then i had to hold him down. so he did rather good for a screaming boy and a boy whos wiggling the whole time…
i got my hair cut by DESTINEE she did great. great personality. caring and easy to talk to. when i left i looked hot. damn they do wonders at that salon…
Then i got my hair colored i wanted an odd color and she did it. my hair came out styln. mind you i broke some necks after she game me a hair cut…

Theres never a stylist at the salon. Appointments only.
I called for a specific straightening system and I got a date and time and no one showed up. I call and all I got was, well I don’t remember, we are off today. Disorganized management. Worst ever.

If you are going to get your hair done whether its a haircut or highlights or dye this is the place to go. I’ve been going to Shari Tavares for years and she will give you nothing short of QUALITY.
