RevTek Speed & Tuning

Having my bike repaired for the first time has been a horrible experience all thanks to this shop.
Dec 30^th they picked up my YZF600 with parts, front forks and triple tree. On Jan 5^th they called once my bike was taken apart and explained that I had the wrong forks. They asked for me to purchase the correct part, which I did immediately through eBay. Once the part came in on the 19^th, I dropped it off the next day. While it was «ready» on the 21^st I wasn’t able to pick it up on the 22^nd.
Because I hadn’t ridden for a few months I had a friend ride it from their shop to Ewa Beach. Upon my friend getting to the shop, I was told that I also needed a front rim because it was bent to the point that my front breaks were already pressing down on the rim. I was also told that if I had told them where I was going to buy the part, they would have bought the same part even if it was front eBay. While they would have marked up the price a bit, they would have waved the $ 25 per day storage fee while waiting for the part. AMAZING to find out after racking up nearly $ 400 in storage fees, right?!? In addition to saving on the storage fees I would have been able to pay their hourly labor fee of $ 85 rather than the $ 125 that I was charged.
Not only did I have to fork out nearly $ 1100 for an unsafe bike to ride, the bike didn’t even make it to my house. About 2 miles in, the bike stalled out and still will not start… Even with it being choked.
Previous to the bike being taken in, there was never an issue with the bike starting, stalling, or the engine being smooth while riding. When I picked up the bike over a week ago, I asked for the shop owner to contact me about getting a rim, which he said he would do as I still need a new tire on that rim. But NOTHING. They had absolutely no issue raping my wallet and screwing with my bike to cause it to stall out and now not start.
This place is all around shady.

Poor customer service and will over charge and up charge as much as possible. I have heard nothing but gross overcharging and unnecessary work. Owner is arrogant and talks down to everyone who walks in the door.

Unilocal has brought me to this wonderful shop! I was reading the reviews and I was thinking there is no way this is all true, but since it was located in waipio and I live Mililani I decided to go. Friendly and informative staff. I knew nothing about bikes and they took the time to explain everything even with diagrams on the comp. One big plus is they do not pressure you into buying anything which is something I HATE. I felt welcomed and comfortable. Don’t hesitate to bring your bike here.

I was there for a MC Dino competition. They had a great Dino set up and offer great deals on tuning.

I started bringing my Speed Triple to Revtek after an unfortunate incident at the dealer. It’s been about 6 years, and I won’t take my bike anywhere else for service. Ted (the janitor) & his crew don’t beat around the bush, and they aren’t in it to get rich. They have a passion for bikes, and it shows in their service and knowledge.

I brought in a Ducati Streetfighter 848 I just bought used — had a non-​functional Powercommander V installed and an aftermarket exhaust.
got new tires and a custom tune — –Ted also diagnosed and fixed the powercommander -, tuned bike on the DYNO, and installed an o2 optimizer.
Great service –totally happy with the results — bike runs much smoother throughout the rev range — also gained about 6 more hp and 6 lbs tq. Long story short — These guys earned my business — I will be back. Definitely recommend. Thank you!

I recently finished a turbo Hayabusa build. The bike has a PCV and a base tune. It runs well but is a little fat on boost. I called and explained my situation and asked for a quote. I was told $ 900 to tune my bike! I asked why it was so expensive and was told because I built the bike myself and didn’t bring it to them to tune. I was floored! This was said to me in a very condescending tone. I explained that I had bikes tuned in the past and it had never been more than $ 200. I was told if I didn’t like it I could buy my own dyno and tune it myself. I am extremely disappointed.

Brought my bike in wanting do alot of different changed Ted and his guys didn’t disappoint. I would recommend buying the products from the shop and not somewhere else so you have that in store warranty. Overall great experience fair pricing and bike running like a champ.

Ted the owner is a nice and helpful guy. Even though we live on a different island he still goes out of his way to help us. He would be the only one is trust to repair or modify a bike. His knowledge and skill are far greater then most of the dealership mechanics

RevTek owner Ted did a fantastic job building a custom dynojet fuel map for my ZX10R. The shop used DynoJets Power Commander 5/​QuickShifter along with in-​shop DynoJet Dynamometer. My QuickShifter set up performs full throttle, clutchless upshifts, flawlessly, & on demand. RevTek has on staff ‘real world racetrack experience’ using the actual products they sell. Ted is a wealth of information & great wrench — in addition to being a humble man. This shop well earned my business out of respect. If your looking for real world know how combined with the proper experience to back it up, I highly recommend RevTek. I 100% trust this shop with all my future business.

This shop has a great staff. I wanted to upgrade the exhaust on my bike, Ted took the time to explain the ins and outs of what needed to happen — it was good education. He showed me some catalogs with various parts and options, I orderd everything through him after I decided what I wanted. The upside to ordering through thte shop is that the parts are delivered directly there and I was releived of the burden of dealing with vendors and manufacturers. His front office assistant, Minty, was on top of things — she called after all of the parts arrived and scheduled my appointment, the process was easy because she is customer service oriented. I recommend this shop.

Have you ever been to a repair/​service shop and feel like you are getting ripped off? Ever felt that uneasy feeling when you walk in the door to get your motorcycle or even your car serviced?
Well, at Rev Tek I experience none of those things. The guys there were really informative, helpful and very nice. i came in to buy frame sliders for my R6 (get in get out kind of deal) and ended up spending an hour getting advice from the guys about what to do with my bike. They really know their machines and know the definition of customer service, which is a plus with me.
I can guarantee they got my business and i recommend you give them yours if you own a bike or plan to own one. its your one stop shop for your motorcycle needs.

Considering we live on a «rock», with a limited amount of places to service our bikes, Revtek hasn’t failed to disappoint yet (as opposed to other places i’ve been)! They seem to grasp this concept and take pride in their work with quality customer service and an impeccable, and thorough attention to detail when it comes to servicing your bike. Whether it be routine maintenance or upgrading your bike bordering the extreme, Revtek seems to do it all. For these reasons, I keep going back as a return customer!

Ted is awesome, his shop is clean and most of all he does awesome work on bikes. Now that I’m not dating a «mechanic» dude, I take my bike here to get things done that I can’t do myself.
