Corey Cazares is a disabled combat veteran, with 8 years of service to his country. In 2007, he attended a VA homebuyer’s seminar, and realized that his dreams of owning a home were closer than he thought. Shortly after closing on his first home, he saw that not only was home ownership more attainable than he thought, but also that there was a system in place for veterans like him to get there. He knew that if more veterans and active duty military knew about this benefit, then more veterans would take advantage, making more informed financial decisions when choosing their living situations in Hawaii. He quickly saw a role he could play that would directly affect veterans in a positive way. Corey had one simple goal, and that was to help our country’s veterans better understand, plan for and achieve home ownership. Corey is a weekly speaker at Schoffield Barracks Army Base. He is also co-owner of Island Style Realty Inc., and sole owner of The Veteran To Veteran Real Estate Team.
