I wish I could give this quack one star however: this doesn’t allow for that. I normally don’t write a review but I felt like I had to for all those who maybe looking for a physician on the West Side of Oahu.
We moved out to Ewa and we decided to try to find a physician near Ewa so I called and he was the only doctor who had an immediate opening. That should have told me something about him, but my husband and daughter decided to give doctor Fletcher a try. It was from the get go he ordered all these lab test and then schedule a follow up visit in a week. After the follow up visit he wanted more test to be done like an ekg or somekind of heart monitor. My husband wanted a physician who would be able to see him for his gout attacks and insomnia. Dr Fletcher’s concern was only of ordering labs after labs. I believe my husband may have done 5 labs within a 2 – 3 month span only so he could get my husband to come back in for a follow up visit so he could bill our insurance.
When asked Dr. Fletcher what was the purpose of all of these follow up appointments and lab test his response was «Obama Care.» What the heck does the Obama Care have to do with this quack doctor ordering unnecessary test only to bill our insurance company for additional payment then he puts on the lab form gout when my husband came in for his insomnia.
Then my daughter who also needed a physician because she no longer could be seen by her pediatrician went in for a routine visit and he orders labs on her and asked for a follow up appointment. She too went in for her follow up and he wanted another follow up appointment and at that point and time I told her she was done with doctor Fletcher because he wanted her to do another lab test.
This is ridiculous, this is the worst doctor that I have ever heard about, I worked at QMC Honolulu for over twelve years. I’ve meet and dealt with many physician throughout my time with QMC it just sadden me that QMC still has the physician on their list of doctors that they refer patients to.
Dr’s Fletcher is not one to listen to his patients his only concern is to schedule another follow up visit and order unnecessary tests.

Too bad I can’t give NO STaR! This is the worst doctor experience you’ll ever have. I’ve been to this doctor and tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Last straw was my last appointment here. I made appointment with my husband. This doctor is a joke. I did my annual blood work (complete panel) to see if I was in working order – physical exam. He did insist tests that I don’t need; I am in my 30’s and very healthy, my tests also reveals this. He was so pissed off with me that while checking my vitals he was talking my ears off and saying: «your insurance contacted me and asked why I wasn’t doing these tests on me» LIAR! First of all how can you hear my heart with all your blabbering. Shining the light in my throat without looking in– no insurance company will call to ask doctor about a particular patient – they’re too busy with other claims.
He is trying to commit legal fraud – meaning twisting patient’s arm to do things insurance will cover by obtaining our consent so he can benefit even if we don’t need it because it’s not a problem that even exist!
DO NOT SEE THIS DOC; make appointments at your own risk – don’t say you were not warned!

Dr. Fletcher and his staff are very knowledgeable, courteous and pay close attention to your needs. I’ve been seeing Dr. Fletcher for roughly three years now and couldn’t be any happier. He takes his time to listen to my concerns and makes sure I fully understand everything before I leave his office. The other thing I love is scheduling is never an issue, which it was with other offices in the past.

Since I do not have a regular doctor, I was searching for a doctor who was accepting new patients. Every where I called, the earliest appointment I could get was 3 or 4 weeks out. When I called Dr Fletcher’s office they said that they could take me at 130 pm the following day. «Great» I thought. 730 am on the day of the appointment I get a call to cancel because the doctor was sick. I asked if I could reschedule. She says okay, same time tomorrow. Day of the appointment comes (again). 1145 am I get a call canceling again! No real explanation. Something about having only 1 computer working & doctor telling them to cancel all appointments. Then she says «are you okay or did you still want to reschedule?» I guess not! He doesn’t seem to be interested in new patients

Dr. Fletcher is a great and thorough doctor. I was sick for years before I started seeing Dr. Fletcher and no other doctor could figure out why. Thank goodness I found Dr. Fletcher, he cured me and I am no longer nauseated every morning I wake up. He made me take blood tests immediately and found out what was the problem. I am very grateful and I highly recommend Dr. Fletcher, he doesn’t let anything slip by.

Dr Fletcher was great in helping me with my recent physical. He was very accommodating, took the time to talk and get to know my history. Very informative, and knowledgable about health & wellness.

He just wants the co-​pay. If I had come in for every follow up he’d asked me to come in for i’d have been there every week. I’m a 25 year old in fine health. There is no reason I should have to visit a doctor weekly. Since I didn’t show up for any of his follow ups he asked me to start doing so, because something about the insurance company covering it better… I honestly have no idea. Seemed like non-​sense.
Furthermore, he made getting my surgical approval the longest, most drawn out process possible. Then, asked me to do a follow up with him a week after my surgery. The only doc I needed to follow up with was my surgeon. Every time I had to be in there I would have to be the first patient. Otherwise, my appointment probably would have lasted about an hour and half — if not more — all together. Not to mention the two times in two weeks he ‘wasn’t in’ so it backed up his appointments. Ridiculous.

Dr Fletcher hands out prescriptions you don’t need, wants you to follow up with him even though you haven’t started the prescription yet. One of my family members still sees him and I constantly have to go back to have him correct the prescription slip cause it’s written wrong, but he thinks he knows more about the prescription than the pharmacist. Oh, and I’ve never seen so many EMTs come get patients in a doctors office to bring them to the hospital. Please save your copays and see a better doctor. This ones just in it for the money.
His staff constantly loses paperwork and is unorganized. Blows thru new staff every few months.

I went to see Dr. Fletcher in spite of all the bad reviews I read. I have to agree with all the bad reviews:
!!! BOTTOM LINE: THE DOCTOR DOESN’T CARE ABOUT YOUR CONCERNS, HE IS ONLY LOOKING TO FIND WAYS TO CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOU DON’T NEED.
— They overbooked, I waited an hour before I was seen by the Nurse for my scheduled appointment. I spent a total of 2 hours there for an initial intake appointment, but probably only seen the doctor for about 10 minutes.
— I came in seeking a physical therapy/​orthopedic referral for a pre-​diagnosed knee injury (torn PCL) and chronic heartburn.
— Dr. Fletcher ordered unnecessary procedures for an initial appointment: A circulation test and EKG, I’m a healthy 30 year old, recently passed a Military Flight Physical, I don’t see the point of the additional tests. I ended up paying a total co-​pay of $ 65 out of pocket for an initial appointment. I wasn’t even told ahead of time that the additional tests would cost me $ 40 out of pocket. Further the nurse kept insisting that she shave my chest for the EKG, I could tell she was under some kind of pressure to ensure the EKG be done.
— Dr. Fletcher completely disregarded any of my previous medical records from the Army, even though it was a clear diagnosis of a torn PCL.
— Dr. Fletcher didn’t seem to really care about my concerns and went against what I had requested. I needed a doctors note for light duty because of my knee pain, and wanted a referral to an orthopedic specialist. He insisted I see him after a useless x-​ray that would have revealed nothing as my injury is a torn PCL/​cartilage damage.
— Though I didn’t express terrible knee pain, or request pain medication, he prescribed me prescription strength pain medication.
— Terrible experience, waste of time and money. I was so upset I almost walked out mid appointment. I found a much better doctor that actually cares about my concerns.
