History

Established in 2015.

Two long time friends and partners in the security field working for the people’s needs of visual security, and filling the gap of what consumers can purchase camera systems for to what a company will charge to have them installed professionally. Project managing for a much larger company, owners Rj Van Ness and Patrick Murphy utilize the experience and knowledge gained to establish Camera Protection Oahu.

Business Owner

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest and studied business at the University of Oregon, Patrick moved to Oahu in 2007. Living on the north shore Oahu Patrick worked at Turtle Bay Golf Course before taking a management position at Giovanni’s Shrimp truck in Kahuku. Rj Van Ness grew up in Kaneohe Hawaii, and attended Kahuku high school and was awarded a college scholarship to Fresno state for baseball. Rj took a summer job at Giovanni’s after attending Fresno state, soon thereafter Rj and Pat took project managing jobs for a security contracting company in January of 2012. Making the big leap of business ownership in 2015, with a vision of establishing the most customer satisfactory security company, by putting the customer first in all aspects of business.
