Simple Maui Wedding

Simple Maui Wedding could not have been more wonderful to work with. They are professionals and have thought of every detail ahead of time, so you don’t have to. Karma and Emily were prompt in answering any questions I had, but the most important thing to me was that I had absolute trust in them for everything! I wanted a simple but beautiful beach wedding but had never been to Maui. Simple Maui Wedding took care of it all.
We were married on White Rock Beach at the suggestion of SMW. Jennifer was the onsite coordinator and did a great job. We had 20 guests which seems so small but can be a bigger challenge to coordinate than I would’ve expected! The flowers were beyond beautiful and lasted the whole week after the ceremony (and beyond even, but I didn’t take them home on the plane). The photography is incredible and worth every cent of the package cost. Our photographer Ajja was delightful and playful and was great at directing us and our guests. Reverend Joe Miles was kind, caring, and conducted a truly lovely and meaningful ceremony based on our preferences.
I really could not be happier with our experience and am so glad we chose to work with Simple Maui Wedding. I will (and already have) recommend them to anyone looking for the Maui wedding experience with all the special touches that make your day that much more meaningful.

Marissa, Karma and Chamonix from beginning (before we even landed on Maui) to end (choosing photos) have been nothing short of professional, accomodating and very sweet!
Marissa definitely makes sure that you are stress-​free as possible on your special day.
Karma has a natural eye for good angles, capturing raw emtions and beautiful nature backdrops.
Chamonix has been ever so patient with the computer issues I’ve had with choosing photos.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had with Simple Maui Wedding! There is nothing «simple» about the level of service and professionalism this wonderful company has to offer! Everything went so smooth, communication was great, and the pricing was amazing for the level of service and quality of photos we received.
My husband and I were married on Po’olanalana beach at sunset. Marissa had emailed and called prior to make sure we knew where to go and what to do, even giving us her cell number in case we had any last minute issues. We would HIGHLY recommend finding the beach/​location before the big date, as Siri took us to the wrong beach. Luckily we did a dry-​run the day before so we figured out where to go. To our surprise another couple was having a morning wedding, so it was great to see the beautiful beach and watch their celebration.
My husband showed up first and Marissa and Naomi were ready to go! They helped him get staged and then I arrived. Marissa helped me with my flowers and had me walk to my husband and the photographers took a bazillion photos. It was so special and wonderful. Marissa was right there to fix my dress and hair and even held my iPhone throughout the entire ceremony so our family could watch through Face Time back home. Can you say: PRICELESS. They had us do several routine photos and then asked what WE wanted, which was great! We added the trash the dress which was WELL worth the extra money and the photos were fun and turned out amazing. Naomi and the other photographer even ended up getting wet to achieve the best pictures, now that’s dedication!
We literally selected the location, photos, minister, and flowers and then showed up. EVERYTHING was thought of and prepared for us, down to a list of vendors for hair/​makeup/​limos. Marissa even checked to see how many other couples had pulled permits for the same beach that evening so they could plan the best part to take us to photograph. That’s so thoughtful… everything was about us having the best wedding experience possible.
The process was soo easy; we have told everyone we know they are crazy if they don’t use Simple Maui Wedding! I hope in 10 years they are still in business so we can renew our vows and use them again.
P. S. We just hopped in the shower afterward to wash the salt water off my dress and his Tommy Bahama silk clothing and none of it was ruined! So «trash the dress» maybe should be called «kick ass water photos» instead? xoxo

Marissa Marissa Marissa, she is SO wonderful! After getting engaged to my now husband we went back and forth deciding what we to do for our wedding, it took months. After finally deciding to do a destination wedding we had to figure out who we would work with. I emailed different people and got different information, but we decided on Simple Maui Wedding since the website was well put together, the pictures were amazing (Karma is AMAZING!), and the pricing was great. Let me just say that Marissa makes everything SIMPLE. There is no stress, all you do is get your hair and makeup done (thanks Trisha) and show up, it was that simple. Marissa has a great personality and therefore super easy to work with and she always replies to your questions in a timely manner.

I had a GREAT experience working with Marissa and Karma. Simple Maui Weddings took beautiful pictures of our ceremony and were so nice and responsive to all of my questions. The process was very simple and exactly what we were looking for. I did not feel like I had to give anything up, considering how easy the planning was. If you want a simple Maui wedding, this is the company for you! I’ve been to so many wedding extravaganzas, and I always knew that big weddings were not for me. This wedding company helped us to achieve an elegant, intimate wedding ceremony, and best of all, we were stress free and were able to enjoy every moment (something that many other brides and grooms cannot accomplish because of all the «hoop-​lah»). Marissa is a wonderful and attentive wedding coordinator (she makes you feel like an old friend!), and Karma is an expert photographer, who made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. I also appreciate that they are transparent about their prices, which made budgeting very easy. Just overall, fun, wonderful, honest people. We are so thankful :) Love, the new Mr. and Mrs. Hong
