I can see why these guys repeatedly get 5-​star reviews — they are awesome! Not only is my car super clean, fresh, and shiny, their customer service is the best — from answering all my questions and giving great advice for maintenance, to making it really easy for me to get to and from the airport on the short trip I was taking while they detailed my car. I highly, highly recommend their work and can’t say enough good things about their personable, professional nature. Mahalo.

I have a sweet Ford F150 named Pearly, cause she’s a Pearl white color. She now looks like Showroom Quality! Living in Haiku it rains all the time, plus were at the beach alot, I cannot keep her nice long. I neglected her for at least 2 months. Brought her into Phase One, and they did a remarkable job! She’s all pretty & shiny again. All the dried up mud, etc is gone. Since they came highly recommended, I thought I’d better book my next appt NOW, to hold my spot. I won’t let my baby get that bad again. Thanks Phase One!

This was my second time using Phase One Detailing. Mike and Lorelei came all the way to Kapalua again for a minimum extra charge. My Lexus looks like new. They took out some paint scratches so well that my wife couldn’t find where they were. Mike and Lorelei run their own business and do the work themselves. My family is in the detailing business in NY and no question we’ll use them again.

I have not had my vehicle detailed by Mike and Lorelei yet, but I look forward to the time when I do. My husband and I both had our vehicles detailed a few months ago by another company. Since that time, both of us have been developing problems with our windshields which we did not have before. A friend told me about Phase One, so I called and spoke with Lorelei on the phone. She was wonderful and spent quite a bit of time with me discussing the problem. She suggested that I bring my van in for an evaluation of the windshield. I did that today, and I must say, working with Lorelei was a pleasure. I have confidence in their skill, in the quality of their work, and the products they use. Thanks, Lorelei, for your help!

I am an extremely picky person when it comes to my car. I drive a two year old Lexus and am very careful about maintaining it. I chose Phase One due to the great reviews on Unilocal.I was expecting my car to look good when they were done, but instead it looked GREAT! In fact, it looked like it belonged in the Dealer’s showroom! Mike and Lorelei work extremely hard to do a perfect job. They want their customers to be happy and they really put the word «Detail» in when it comes to detailing a car. My car was immaculate inside and out when I got it back. I chose the extra protection coating for my car as we currently don’t have a garage and it has to be parked outside. They did a perfect job of applying the coating and my car was polished to a gorgeous shine. The inside was the cleanest it has ever been since I bought it (new) two years ago. To say that I’m a satisfied customer is an understatement. I’m a customer for life after experiencing the great job they did. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Awesome customer service and detailing skill. As other Unilocalers I was amazed by the quality of their work. I appreciated any extra charges that may apply were quoted with visual inspection at drop off. There weren’t any luckily. I was very happy they even restored my cruddy chrome rims back to shiny and new. Thanks guys. I’ll be back very soon.

Best detailing ever!
These two people worked for 6 hours making my 10 year old BMW look like it just rolled out of the showroom. That included the engine compartment. I could not believe it. Highly highly recommend these folks!

I went to Phase One to have my car cleaned before selling it. I live in Kihei and my ride to pick up my car fell through. So, they offered to drive my car back to me assuming I could wait until the end of their business day. Wow! What great service.
My car was so beautiful (including door jams and often overlooked areas) that I didn’t want to sell it. However, I put up an ad and sold it full price to the first person who came to look. I know it was because it looked brand new.

Awful experience– shouldn’t be in business ! Unprofessional and incompetent. They completely wasted half of my day– had an appointment and they refused to detail my car, because Lorelei didn’t like my questioning a very high add-​on price for water-​spot removal on the windows. She wasn’t even able to explain what was so special about waterspot treatment for the windows that made it such an expensive add-​on.
Instead she kept repeating again and again that they’re the «experts» and that’s why people come to them, so they don’t have to do it themselves at home– DUH! When I requested they do everything else but the windows, she just got all righteous and offended and refused to work on my car entirely.
All the while telling me that she doesn’t take it personally (really?!) Stay away from this company– no pono !
Had to go to another detailer, who did a great job including waterspot removal on the windows and it was all included in the similar and comparably priced base package.

Finally!!! Someone in a service business actually cares and has pride in their work. Lorelei and Michael were a pleasure to do business with. Accommodating, friendly, caring, personalized service and the list goes on. They were able to juggle their schedule around to accommodate my short notice request for I was leaving the island and wanted to get my new CRV detailed prior to my departure. They came to my house and worked all day ensuring my 10 year old car looked as good as it did when it rolled off the showroom floor. They are putting me on a annual schedule with reminders to make sure that my car stays looking good in the extreme weather that Maui is exposed to. Thanks again for a job well done! I would recommend Phase One to anybody in the market for a detail. You won’t be disappointed and their rates are very fair

What an absolutely fantastic job Lorelei and Michael did on my xB! My car is 6.5 years old and had three babies in it for it’s entire life and it’s never had a deep cleaning EVER. Then of course I say yes to taking fish to Lahaina for my fisherman brother and they spill all over the back making my car stinky!
The smell is totally gone, the car is super clean, and to top it all off, since this was my birthday gift from my husband, Lorelei and Michael even got me a birthday card and a jeweled coffee cup! So sweet!
Absolutely recommend!

Michael and Lorelei came to our home and detailed my red 2005 Cadillac XLR and it looks like new! Fabulous job.
They returned a few days later and gave the black CTS an update (it’s been 11 months) and it too looks fabulous.
Lorelei also cleaned the upholstery on 2 love seats that were very grungy and an entire outdoor seating set that had gotten quite a lot of abuse. All look fabulous now. And very reasonably priced.
We’ll have them back regularly. Lovely people, great services, great value.

Phenomenal! One word describes Phase One Detailing.
Michael and Lorelei came to my home in Kihei in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
They detailed my Porsche, which hadn’t had so much as a bath in around a year.
Suddenly people are noticing my car, and giving me compliments on it.
They even set me up on a maintenance plan, and will send me reminders of when my car is due for another detailing.
They referred me to a local mobile Porsche mechanic, who was reasonable and prompt.
Also, they fixed my squeeking driver seat adjustment at no extra charge. The shop where I had been getting the mechanical servicing said they would need to pull out the seat and diagnose the squeeking problem (a 2 hour minimum job at a stiff price).
I’m so glad our island has such a professional local detailing team.

Friends loaned us their car while we were on vacation in Maui for two weeks. Regular sand, Red sand, mud from hikes — we did a number on their sweet little Prius.
Thanks to Phase One (Michael and his lovely wife Lorelei), they will never know. Unless they read this on Unilocal.When I walked up to pick up the car five hours after drop-​off I did not recognize it. Super shiny, super clean. People overuse the word «literally», but you literally could have eaten off the engine (yes, he cleaned the engine).
It is so awesome to deal with someone who takes pride in their work, and paying only $ 99 for everything done made me feel like I got away with something sneaky.
Definitely go there if you need a detail. Note they are located in an industrial park area so keep your eyes open for the exact address.

First off, I found Phase One through Unilocal.They had two 5-​star reviews and I thought I’d give them a try. Needless to say, they dun good. The good people (Lorelei and Michael) at Phase One did a great job with their $ 99 sizzling summer detail special. Upon picking up my Subaru, they walked me through all of what they did (Michael even cleaned and waxed the door jams!).
One small problem is Lorelei ended with dentist guilt, i.e., telling you all the things you should have been doing. Don’t get me wrong, it’s nice to know what I should do to keep my car in top shape, and the level of detail (pun intended) earns them five stars.

My car was filthy –inside and out. I chose Phase One because they were conveniently located in Wailuku and they were offering a Spring Cleaning special for $ 99.00. They did a wonderful job. My car is shining and clean.
I will definitely use this service again. I highly recommend this business for a very thorough cleaning and a great price.
