Crossfit Waialua

Crossfit Waialua is AWESOME! So lucky to have a great gym like it so close to where I’m visiting on the North Shore. Levi & his staff are extremely knowledgeable about the sport of fitness & accommodated our 5 person group visiting from LA. For sure going to drop in a few more times before we leave. Great atmosphere, great view, all around great experience! Thank you Crossfit Waialua!!!

I kept passing this place in my car and it looked solid. The website looked great too, I was really excited to start up a membership. I gave the number a call, left a message, nothing. Called again. Nothing. The third time I called someone clearly pushed the button to send me straight to voicemail. I was discouraged, but I persevered. I stopped by in person, spoke to Levi the owner, and he enthusiastically scheduled an intro workout/​assessment for the following Tuesday at 0730. I showed up. He didn’t bother to show up or even call to say he couldn’t make it.
I ended up convincing another trainer to do an intro lesson with me and she was friendly to the point that I nearly forgot about Levi’s flakiness. I decided to try a regular class the following Thursday morning at 0900. When I drove up at 0859, no one was there to open the gym. That’s when I finally finally gave up on Crossfit Waialua.
This place could be something really special but for now it’s a textbook example of unprofessional behavior.

Great workout. Welcomed our entire crew from Crossfit PHX… all 9 of us. Thanks Levi for teaching us Turkish getup and having us do a kettle bell snatch test… all in lieu of running!!!
