These guys know there bikes! went in with a bike ridding like crap got my bike back in a few hours riding like its bran new! I was happy with the amazing customer service and quick turn around time. Worth every penny.

I look at all these contrasting views and I have to say… these guys are great, but they are just people… be patient and friendly and they will take care of you.

You know I read all these reviews about this place and I hair wanted to check them out cause I needed a new carburetor for my bike and I walk in and the lady and older ha’olé guy who is the owner of the shop just kept doing shit on their iPads and I’m standing there waiting to be helped I ask the guy if they had carburetor’s new ones for sale he pulls out a used one here you go. Like no I need a new one we don’t sell them can u suggest another place to go to? Nope can’t help you there you don’t want this carburetor than take your business somewhere else! I was baffled I just wanted to jump over that counter and knock him out! No aloha and a complete dick head do not support or take your bike to this shop shitty customer service and most likely shitty service on your bike as well!!! Fucken scrubs I swear!!!

Some of the shop guys here don’t care for your bikes. I’ve had one good experience and the next and last one was terrible. Scratches all over my rear wheels from getting the tire replaced. So, go here if you like getting scratches on your wheels. Like really? Take some care when installing tires. Also, I told the owner who rang me up that I’ll be taking the tire so I won’t have to spend $ 5 for a disposal fee. But he charged me anyways. Another shop in Hawaii that likes to nickel and dime customers.

This shop is amazing! The best place to go when you need parts and accessories right away! They usually have what we need in stock and if they don’t have it, they get it quickly and call us as soon as it comes in. The prices are unbeatable too! Great service, friendly staff, awesome selection. The shop owner also supports the sport by putting on fun races and organizing HMA membership. They even have mountain bikes and accessories too! I can not say enough about Hawaii Rides!

I needed to have some custom decals remade as the ones that I have were destroyed through my own neglect. I will post pictures of my Dodge Charger. Not only did Sean (i hope I spelled his name correctly) replace them, they looked EXACTLY as my damaged decals, and they were the cheapest around. Thanks Auto Trim Hawaii!

What a major difference between service the first time and today. My boyfriend had called the shop to see about replacing a tire for his bike. He was to pay for the tire and a worker, on the phone, had said that they were not going to charge to put it on, then when we get here the front girl said the charge was $ 25 to put the tire back on. Meanwhile the guy who said otherwise was just standing there, never included himself in the conversation and had the most nonchalant look ever. She proceeded to say the guy only started a week ago, as if that helps with being misinformed. That is complete crap. If you tell a customer one thing on the phone, you have to honor that same thing face to face. Finally after my boyfriend said how frustrated he was, especially with being a regular customer, the girl didn’t apologize but only changed the receipt to no charge. It would’ve been one thing if we knew ahead of time there would be a charge, but shitty service is not flattering.

Went there to have the safety inspection done on my bike. Even though they were busy, they got to me 5min after walking in the door and my bike was done 14min later. The older guy was very professional, to the point, helpful, and efficient (did my inspection). The girl was very friendly and helpful (made an other unrelated purchase while I was there that she helped me with).
If you want a place that is very professional and efficient this is the place for you. If you want someone to waste their time and kiss your butt because you think your special, go someplace else.
All locals, military, and haoles received the same professional level of customer service while I was there, so it is not one of those good service for «locals only» type of establishments.

I’ve taken my bike there a few times. Good service each time. Competitive prices and I got my bike in that day, no waiting to schedule an appointment. The fixed my issues in half the time estimated and told me my honest options. Dave is the man.

This place is sketchy as hell. The only good thing I have to say about their place is the location to where I live. I went in for an inspection, and then that old ass white guy that works there threatened to not pass my bike because of my front turn signals if I didn’t buy the $ 12 front reflectors I was missing, that I said I had at home and would come back with to install myself. I think the worst part is that he did this to me in front of customers instead of pulling me off to the side or something. Screw this place. Anytime someone asks about where to take their bike, I tell them to stay away from Hawaii Rides, they don’t deserve anyone’s hard earned cash.

I went there for a safety inspection and the older man who does the inspections was very very rude. To the point that while I was walking out he was still raising his voice at me without cause. I will never give this place any business ever again.

Went here a few days ago the ladies that worked there were very nice. The short Asian guy that was behind the counter complete dick. I will take the drive to south seas from now on. I went in there about to spend 1200 for exhaust and some other stuff. But that dude was to damn rude to even talk to I tried to talk to him three dif times and he just looked at me like I was stupid then went back to his computer screen. And if you read and look at all the other reviews if your a local they treat Ya good if you white or military your screwed

I have been there… three separate times, and I have not had a «Bad Experience» with this place. I went there each time someone different was working hte counter, and the inspector had to many people to get to me that day, understandable. So I came back the following day, first thing in the morning to get the inspection. No worries. Inspection done even picked up a magnetic «chatterbox» tank bag for my phone… There were things going on and they were short handed, but not at all an unpleasant experience.

A motorcycle shop that rents mountain bikes! Sam hooked us up. We rented three Santa Cruz Hecklers, 27.5 & tubeless. Awesome bikes, in great condition. Sam had a 3 bike rack for our rental car, emailed me a PDF map of the recommended ride and gave us great directions to get there. We had an awesome ride! Just bring your gear, helmet, pedals, shoes etc. Highly recommended!

Don’t know how these guys have so many terrible reviews. I’ve been here a handful of times and had stuff done to my bike. I will go over each experience and rate them out of 5.
Just something to note — I have an 03 SV1000s.
Safety inspection: Ah, yes. The dreaded safety inspection for modified bikes. Anyway, I took my bike to the shop to have me safety inspection done. This was around March of this year. I walked in, asked about getting it done, and they came out for the inspection about 6 minutes after the inquiry. Not a terribly long wait. Got all my paperwork situated, got my bike inspected, and got everything done within 15 minutes. Very acceptable. One of my friends also went here a couple weeks after to get the safety inspection, and he had no problems either. No complications or issues here. Everything was pretty straightforward. ⁵⁄₅
Stripped screw: I had an issue taking off my steering stabilizer because I had stripped a screw. I went to the shop and explained the situation. They took my bike to the back, got the screw out, and replaced it. Everything went smoothly. I ended up paying about 22 bucks for it, which may be a little high in my opinion, but everything was handled well and I was out within 30 minutes. Everything went well, but the price (might be normal cost, though. I’m not sure) will give my rating of this experience a ⁴⁄₅
Fuel leak: This is my most recent experience with them. I actually just got my bike back yesterday. Anyway, I had come in to get a diagnosis for my bike which I thought was a coolant leak. I dropped off my bike on a Saturday, and they couldn’t get to it until Monday because there were no mechanics there. Got a call on Monday around 1030 AM and was informed that no coolant leak was present, but that it was a fuel leak instead. I was quoted on the prices of parts and labor and I went ahead and approved everything. I was called back about 1 hour later and was told that there was a misquote (100 dollar difference, not extremely terrible) and that they wanted to make sure it was still okay. Good gesture from them so that I wouldn’t be surprised of extra costs, which I have had happen to me. The person I was talking to (Sam) told me he would try to save me as much money as possible on parts and labor because of the misquote. Also a very good gesture. Forgot to mention I had them also do a coolant flush since it was already open and that I was probably overdue anyway. Anyway, about a week later, I got my bike back, and noticed that they had applied discounts on everything. Very very good gesture that Sam followed through on saving me money. I would rate the experience ⁵⁄₅.
Overall, I have had zero problems here. Customer service is solid; no gripes or complaints about it. It’s really unfortunate that they have bad ratings, but I always leave satisfied with no problems and would recommend them.

I was hesitant about coming here to get my safety check since I read all the bad reviews. I’ve been here once before 2 years ago to pick up some lights for a bike I had. I showed up and the staff was friendly and courteous. I didn’t make an appointment for my safety inspection and was able to get it done within 15 minutes for $ 15.
Since my bike is heavily modded I was unable to get the safety done that day. Luckily I had all the OEM parts at the house and was able to swap it out no problem. I had a get a new front tire, which was in need of replacement and they quoted me for same day service. So when I came back with the bike I was greeted by a new salesperson who was also very friendly. I brought them up to speed and they were able to get me squared away.

Prices are low and so are the standards. You will only get an inspection or service when they feel like giving it to you and not a moment sooner.
Hours of operation are posted but meaningless. Inspections are done when the inspector feels like it and if you don’t pass the first time good luck getting a follow up inspection!
Don’t waste your time at this two bit joint. Take the time to go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else.

So I never do service here because of all the negative stuff I seen on here. But I needed my rear tire replaced so I took it there. I called ahead and made an appointment with them, I arrived early and they told me it would take about an hour… It took them 2 hours and 40 minutes to replace one tire. Everytime I called to see what was taking so long they told me somebody was ahead me, even though I had made an appointment.
Not only that but when my bike was returned to me it had three extra miles on it. 3 more then when I dropped it off… NEVER EVER EVER if you love ur motorcycle bring it here for service. The only thing this place is good for, is for parts… but not for service.

Do not go to these folks!!! Long story short I walked in for a safety inspection and tossed out my old insurance card (the new one took effect in 27 days) and asked them if I can have one faxed they said they don’t do that! I mean who doesn’t take a fax for a customer? So I asked if I can pay a little something to have it faxed? 10 bucks he said… I was about to walk out but I did not want to ride home and waste my time, long story short, don’t go here. If they charge you 10 bucks for a fax, imagine any other crap they might pull…

Had my Honda Fury safety checked here yesterday via a walk-​in visit. Ample bike parking in front, easy to find. Safety check was just $ 9 and the mechanic and staff were courteous. I don’t really shop for motorcycle accessories too often but their inventory selection was vast. Overall, a good experience with Hawaii Rides.
