Perfect little café! Great egg cetera omelet, fast and friendly. Coffee was good too.

Sign said open 7 to 2. Pulled into parking lot at 1:30. The cook stuck his head out the door and said they stop seating at 1:30. Would not serve us! Will not go there again.

This restaurant was awesome! I am not one to review on Unilocal — but this place only has a few reviews and needs more. While nothing fancy, the place was clean and service was fast and friendly. They were insanely accommodating with the whole menu having gluten-free options with NO up-charge!?! We have never had that happen. Every restaurant uses GF as an excuse to add $ 3 – 5 to the entrée. Go here for an excellent breakfast. You will not be disappointed.

Service is always friendly and attentive. Food is always delicious, plentiful and consistently so. My(now) 9 year old son loves this place since we discovered it about a year ago, and upon learning of his fondness, the staff hooked him up on his birthday. Make no mistake, this is a greasy spoon, and you won’t find new décor here. If you’re looking for something else, that’s not what this place is about. If you’re looking for comfort food that is done right(in terms of flavour, price and quantity), this is your place.

Great little hometown breakfast spot. Family owned & ran. Order what you would like & they will price accordingly. You can delete or substitute items. I luv the décor.

I ate 4 meals here in the last week. I ordered 1 to-go and the others were done-in. This place is super flexible if you want to say, skip hash browns and will even reduce the price based on what you want to skip. Food was always hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. Service was also friendly.

I’ve been to Egg-Cetera twice it’s a little off the beaten path in Waconia. This place is a DIVE, and I believe it’s only open for breakfast and lunch. The décor is crazy inside but that’s the charm of a dive. The service was good but the food can be a little slow but not too bad. The breakfast food is excellent! The coffee is bad, but usually is at breakfast dive places. This is a great greasy spoon to go to for breakfast.

Service was great. I had breakfast here 2 days in a row. I loved it. If I was in town longer, I would have ate here again. The food tasted great. My meal was made exactly how I ordered it. The ladies that served us were sooooo nice. I wish more places could be as good as this place!!!

There are limited breakfast joints to go to in Waconia. I liked this place cause it’s only a couple minutes away from home and the food is alright. Service has always been polite but suuuuuuuuuuper sloooooooooooooooooooow. I’m not really sure if it’s the servers or the cooks that makes everything so pokey but it can get really bad. We got used to a 1.5hr breakfast time whenever we stopped in. Sadly because of this we have started to venture out of town for better options.

–Service was very slow –I ordered the Eggs Benedict with turkey = that was a sad sight… the turkey on the benedict was ONE piece of sandwich meat which was cut in half and put on the english muffin. –probably wouldn’t eat here again… well, if the menu was restructered i would… maybe.
