History

Established in 2014.

Everything has to start somewhere. For us, well we sort of started a few hours Northeast of Waco in a place known to many as Tyler Texas. Our founder, Ty Yarbrough, and a friend fell in love with the style and boldness of southern-​style clothing. They embarked on a slightly terrifying journey together and courageously brought that same style and sense of bold to their home, Tyler, Texas; a place they felt that needed it the most.

After just a few years of operating in Tyler, Ty set out to do the exact same thing in a more unfamiliar city; Waco, Texas.

Seeing the upward trends and amazing growth that was exploding in Waco, in January of 2014 Ty began working on plans to open shop in Waco by Christmas of 2014. After meeting two college students with retail and clothing experience, Collin Cranfill and Hunter Gorman, the three have made a tremendous team working diligently, as always, to bring Waco what it needs and so badly wants, more clothing options for men.

Herbert Amos «Ty» is the namesake of Herbert Amos Clothier and its’ fearless leader. Ty moved to Waco from Tyler, Texas to continue his successful history in men’s clothing retail and came to make a difference in the way that the men of Waco look everyday.
