Specialties
We’re a fun and funky family restaurant on the banks of the Brazos River specializing in Cajun and Creole cooking, we’re happy to keep it spicy or make it milder if that’s your preference. We’ve been voted the best seafood in town. We serve hot boiled crawfish and fresh oysters on the half shell when they’re in season. Awesome pastas, burgers, and salads with lots of other options for people that don’t eat seafood. We also have a full bar and a great beer selection. Be sure to ask for «duck bread» and feed the river wildlife!
Great lunch menu for a budget.
History
Established in 1993.
In 1993 Billy got his start in a old warehouse in downtown Waco. In 2008 we moved the roost to the Swampshack on the banks of the Brazos @ I-35.
