If you want deeply deep fried this is it. You can smell the hot grease when you walk in. Greasy food is the result. It is cheep though and I guess that’s it’s redeeming factor. If you want fast, cheep this is it. For good food that’s good for you go someplace else.

One of my family’s first choices when we go out to a restaurant. A kid-friendly menu, fast service, and a clucking chicken game make it one of my 4 year-old’s favorite places. The food is always hot and yummy. Their chicken is some of the best I’ve had, not just for a «fast food» place. Prices are very affordable. I’ve had several of the sides and they’ve all been great — mashed potatoes, mac n’ cheese, fried okra, dinner roll. Service is always quick and helpful. The tea is also good. This particular location seems to support local youth sports, which is always great.

Always Super Fast to take the order and they are by far the quickest in town. Always have plenty of staff and the only waiting you do is because of the long lines at dinner time. Good Sweet Tea, Good Food, quick and friendly service. It is fast food, so in a Fast Food Chicken category they are a 5 star for me… probably a 3 ½ to 4 against all other types of eating establishment. I’m a fan!

If you haven’t been to Bush’s Chicken(mainly newbies to Texas and/or Waco), you NEED to come here. The chicken is sooo delicious. Their batter is crispy and flaky, the chicken is tender and juicy, and the rolls are so fresh. It is a little pricey, but it is SO worth it.

This is the best Bush’s Chicken I’ve bought from. chicken was great. Large pieces with crispy crunchy coating. Tea by the gallon is good and I can get it unsweetened… with bags of ice available, THE dinner rolls are big n yeastY, LITTLEPIESAREAVAILABLE… LEMONORAPPLECINNAMON, You can drive thru and FRIENDLYCOURTEOUS young people come out to take your order and quickly bring it to your car. MUCH better than the Lorena location!

If you love fried chicken, addictive(and cheap) sweet tea, fresh/warm/soft dinner rolls, classic crinkle fries, & amazing jalapeño poppers, you will LOVE this place. Thursdays at my dad’s house is known as ‘Chicken Day’ and this place is the reason why. Superb quality, service, and efficiency every time, no exceptions. Even the noobs behind the counter are competent due to their managing staff and peer employees. They set the standard high for their employees and are expected to keep that standard. Success, Bush’s Chicken. Kudos. You made my 5-star list.

Tea and rolls are great! The serendipity seasoning is good. I would like another dip to choose from. I don’t care for their gravy. Other than that it’s decent and the prices are fair.

Anyone who goes to Baylor comes back just raving about Bush’s but I don’t get it. Bush’s is fine but it’s not really noticeably better than Popeye’s and is a step down from Chicken Express. The chicken and tenders are very good. I generally prefer fried okra to french fries but the okra is pretty meh so I usually go with the fries instead. The rolls are good, and it’s nice that there is honey on the table, but not as good as the biscuits at Popeyes or Chicken Express.

Anytime you FRY something… it is supposed to be BROWN. Nothing comes out of Bush’s chicken the right color. It comes out looking the color of those awful khaki dockers I had to wear in high school. Their Sweet Tea is decent and the fact that you can get a gallon of it thru the drive-thru along with a bag of ice is the only reason Bush’s(any location) gets two stars. Beige food is not Good Food.
