Purchased a door for our rental house in Cape Coral. Unfortunately even though I was a carpenter the regulations don’t allow for me to do the install. First they lost the order to come out to measure so 2 moths later I call to find out if they’re going to do it. So I order the door and the install«professionals» come out to install and they take the door off the hinges install the frame chipping the stucco about 2 inches while removing the old one and put lots of chalking to hide it and the door has major light gaps just installed completely wrong. I call the manger and two come out and agree to have them come out to fix it. Again they send dumb and dumber to try to correct it. Still have light gaps and as of November 2nd they were suppose to order larger weather stripping and still nothing. They’re professionals aren’t even close.

Walked around the washing machine area, no one asked me if I needed assistance. Was there for a while. Anyways, wanted to ask about discounts, etc. Delivery dates and times. Nothing, just co workers laughing amongst themselves. So that’s 2X been to that location. Decided to go onto website for Lowes. The washer I wanted was on sale on line. Free delivery. My husband has brand new stainless steel machine fill hoses. I refused to purchase them and I was told since I would not spend $ 34.99, they refused to set up machine for me when it is delivered. Isn’t that crappy!!! Also, when I tried to purchase machine on the Lowes website, their credit card payment system is dilapidated. All websites allow you to put in a ship to and a bill to address. Not Lowes, their IT dept is behind the times. I had to call my credit card company 2x, then I had to waste more time ordering over the phone.

My family and I just moved into our new home and I tried to go through Lowes to get a new fence installed. Brian Sweeney was the rep that came out and took measurements and quoted me over $ 1,500 more than 2 other fence companies. I even provided him the 2 written quotes to see if Lowes could match the price, but even that wasn’t good enough. So I called the Store Manager, Terrance, to try and get him involved to see if he could help with the situation. No luck there either. Brian proceeded to speak to me as if I wasn’t getting what he was saying, as if I was some idiot. He ultimately said if I wanted to shop another large box store like Home Depot, that he could match their price. At this point, I was already burned but I wanted to get a bid from Hope Depot as well. I’m glad I did! They were priced around the other 2 companies and offered 24 month financing, Lowes only offered 18 months. Said that they had to send me to their competitor, but it worked out for me.

Bought wood, check out did not ask if I needed help loading. Went outside ALL male employees ran. I will go to Home Depot from now on. Pressure treated wood is heavy to load. Lowes needs to have meetings with staff on how to keep customers happy. I was going to buy a shed, took 30 min. To find someone to talk to about the shed.

We bought a house two months ago and have been coming to Lowes at least once a week. I write reviews ONLY if I was completely impressed. Today my husband I met a wonderful sales associate named Laura. She was fantastic!!! We were in the outdoor section. She was very knowledgable and super helpful. Loved how sweet she was and you can tell that she enjoys her job. It’s quite refreshing to find employees that smile and genuinely wants to help. To think she doesn’t get paid by commission.

If considering Lowe’s for a remodeling project first consult the Florida’s construction lein law. Just because you have paid for the project up front does not mean that you are not responsible for payment again if subcontractors working on your home are not paid!

This Lowes is the worst I have ever been to, and unfortunately I have been there 3x’s before… each visits is a disaster.(I guess I was hoping they would improve) Never any associates around to help, the ones that are are so rude or clueless it’s pathetic. One time I had to use the call button for help in plumbing and three associates passed by me, didn’t even bother to take off the call button and they all ignored me standing at the department desk! Another time a VERY rude cashier, she either hated life or her job! I called Lowes Corporate offices on two of the visits and since nothing has changed at this store, they are either content with rotten feedback or just don’t care… I think it is the latter.

Have to agree with other reviewers on this lowes location. No staff in departments, when they do walk by, they don’t go out of their way to help or even offer. Spent twenty five mins in a department. Saw six team members pass me by, none of which stopped to offer help. Cashier was borderline rude. Obviously hates her job. Didn’t greet me at check out, I had to Greet HER lol, never said thank you(here’s a clue for all those retail big wigs-we WANT to be thanked for choosing to spend money at your business as opposed to the competition across the street. This experience is not the first at this store, it is actually my third and last attempt to spend money there. I will take business to Home Depot, where they understand how to treat customers and demonstrate it every single time I go in there.

I would give this Store a negative 100,000,000 if they had negative ratings. We attempted to purchase one plant, a Desert Rose. Took said plant from nursery dept.(no one could be seen working back there) to front of store. At front only the self service counters were open but there was a woman standing near them… We went to ring out and noticed plant price tag was missing. Woman grabbed plant and called nursery. After awhile nursery person said 19.95. I said no, 14.95. However, I was willing to go speak with nursery person. There was no other customer. I went in back and a little old lady employee was rummaging around in plants, looks at me and mutters they are all different sizes. I said«no, all in the same size pot and all marked 14.95». She shoved one at me and said take this marked one up front for her. Went up front with marked plant. the bitch from hell semi human cashier is on the phone. Apparently with the troll in the back… she rings up the second plant in the same size diameter pot. Charges me $ 14.95 plus tax. I pay. I stand there staring at her(not that I want to look at her ugly face, Lowe’s needs a dental plan for employees). Finally, when I realize she is not going to get a clue and hand over the plant I first brought up. I mistakenly thought it was put behind counter for safe keeping. Noooooooo, I ask for plant I picked out. Bad teeth says no that plant is $ 19.95 you bought this plant, points to one I brought up for price verification because troll is lazy and stupid. Oh, tell me this is not happening! Now the other half walks over from tool boxes. Quickly realizes what toothy is doing and tells her to give me the plant I picked out. The ignorant witch calls for help! Like we are stealing. Now the ignorant help arrives. Instead of telling bad teeth to hand over the plant. She puts both plants in a carriage and drags us back to the now unlit nursery(two hours before closing… Think they need to save on electric because still have not seen another customer, hmmm). No, wait maybe the troll is hiding because she wait… Lied! Now the ignorant REAREND STUPERvisor makes us go through every Desert Rose. Claiming they are different sizes thus different prices. Well, well, well, she proved, OUR point!!! They were all marked $ 14.95 all in the same size pot! I reach in carriage and pick up the plant I bought. I still have receipt in my hand, along with change. Turn to leave. This woman decides to make matters even better. Grabs my arm. Barks out wait! You need to pay for that plant! Now, this upsets me but it really pisses off the other half. This is getting long! Making it shorter… No apology just excuses. Assistant manager arrives. Cause the other half and the front end manager were having a nice little chat by now. This drew all the missing employees from there hiding places. Who knew they had that many people working in that place! One intelligent one called the assistant mang. He was still lurking in the shadows. He offered to take half off the plant, how insulting. How about you teach your staff how to treat customers. How not to lie. Teach them common sense for starters! Even being a JJ fan won’t get me back to this store… Heading to Home Depot now.

I just ordered a dishwasher online and called the store to schedule installation. I spoke to 2 very professional employees. I explained that I was only in town for a few more days, leaving only Friday or Monday for the install(I ordered the dishwasher Thursday evening at 6pm!) I was told that they would do their best but they could not guarantee an install date. Much to my surprise, I received a message later in the evening that while they could not get Friday scheduled, the install would be done on Monday and I would get a confirmation call from the installation company on Friday. I appreciated the unprompted follow-up and therefore, am giving them 5 stars for customer service. The price for the dishwasher, by the way, was easily $ 100 less than the same Whirlpool dishwasher on and !

This is a store that puts profit before people. I returned a electric timer that FAILED to operate. The return seem to go off without a hitch.(I need to check my statement later). Any way I found my replacement and search for a cashier. Search indeed. THEREWASZILCH-NONE. Only a money grubber self check out stand I understand the convenience of these BUT when there is no other HUMAN attended station available I need to go somewhere else. I will pass on via word of mouth to EVERYONE to shop else where. I had CASHINHAND ready to pay. Obviously they rather have a MACHINE then give a HUMAN a job. I TRIED to send a response to lowes the website was screwd up too
