Horrible! I called in a order and I paid for two extra sides of peanut Sauce and they were half full and the food I got spilled all over my car seat because they put the juiciest order on top. It’s like they never bagged food before! I was pissed it has been a week and my car seats are stained Af And my car is so sour smelling! I will never come back! The girl who answered the phone couldn’t even understand me! Wtf kind of people work here?!

Had lunch here today. I ordered cashew chicken with rice for $ 7.75. Choice of 3 small egg rolls, crab Rangoon or cucumber salad. The waitress was super busy. She was the only waitress working. The food was both generous and tasty. I’d recommend this Thai restaurant to anyone liking this type of cooking.

They gave me the wrong order… I ordered a spicy Thai noodle dish and what I got was extremely bland noodles and veggies.

I regularly come here with family to dine in and take some home: the food always pleases and is our favorite place for noodle dishes and curries. Specializing in serving traditional Thai dishes over specialty pasta noodles, Thai Pasta delivers delicious dishes no matter the item. With excellent drinks to boot, including our favorite Thai iced tea and various boba frappes, this is the perfect place to eat with a friend or three in a quaint atmosphere for fair pricing. Portions are generous and always satisfy, typically very shareable and with plenty of leftovers. My personal recommendations for newcomers: any wide rice noodle dish or woonsen(glass noodle) pad thai served with chicken; for curry, the coconut chicken curry embodies what Thai Pasta does best– specialty crispy noodles as well as thin rice noodles served under savory yellow curry fit to be described as both dinner and desert. As for drawbacks: the drive-through is quite small and can only handle one customer at a time. Expect quite a wait if you have just one person ahead of you, and avoid the drive-through altogether if you can see cars waiting. The restaurant generally has few staff in the evening, as well. None of this detracts from the excellent food, though.

I bought a certificate from here and went to pick up my large order, and they refused to honor the certificate I had paid for. They were very rude and their only explanation was that they wanted the certificate printed out. The certificate was downloaded on my Mobil app and specifically stated that it did not have to be printed. When I inquired if they cared about losing a customer, they stated they did not care.

I love the food at Thai Pasta and have been going to the one in Vista before the fire. While they were closed I went to the one in Carlsbad. If you read the hours they are open until 9:00PM. We showed up at 8:30PM this past Saturday(6÷13÷15) and they would not let us eat in the restaurant. We could only order to go. It seemed like they would have preferred we did not order at all and just leave. Terrible experience at a usually good restaurant.

Gave it a try today, probably won’t go back. Food was over cooked and mushy, the beef was horribly dry, like bad beef jerky, or like it was cooked In a microwave. If you’re looking for good Thai food, don’t look here. If you’re looking for something edible to fill your stomach, by all means enjoy.

Our favorite go-to place for yellow curry with chicken plus shrimp, and garlic rice noodles with shrimp. They make substitutions and additions, so I always ask for extra peanuts on the noodles and for the bean sprouts to be raw. They have wine and boba tea. It’s a very small staff, but they know our likes, and we have always been satisfied.

As a kid, my parents used to take my sister and I here all the time. We would always sit inside in the cozy little corners and had made some really good ol’ family memories. As our lives got busier we just stopped coming. I had noticed throughout the years that on a few separate occasions, this location was closed down– I think once there was a fire that left this place pretty damaged. The other night I wanted some really decent take out and I was not feeling Chinese, and REALLY didn’t want to get out of my car(just one of those days) so a lightbulb went off when I remembered Thai Pasta. Like my tip said, the drive thru is very very confusing. There aren’t any signs and you have to make this turn that almost runs you straight into a wall. Just don’t think that you missed something if it’s your first time and you think you’ve missed the menu, you don’t get a menu til you pull up to the window and the employees hand you one. I was super stoked to see the menu does not seem to have changed. I don’t like to push any boundaries when it comes to any sort of Asian food so when I saw they still have«garlic sauce» which I used to always get, I had to get it again. All of the plates come with either: chicken, beef, pork, tofu, or veggies. I also ordered drunken noodles so I could have leftovers for a few days:) The wait once I ordered was only about 6 minutes. My food was delicious! One down side was that my garlic sauce was kind of lacking a lot of sauce for my taste. The drunken noodles were great but they were all sticking together, I haven’t actually ever had drunken noodles so maybe that’s the way it should be? So one dish and one side was perfect. I had two servings for myself and still had a giant plate of leftovers my mum happily ate the next day. Thai Pasta is totally worth your time if you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or a cute little place to dine-in.

The quality, quantity and service have decreased over the years. We used to go here often but now experience watery tasteless soup, watered down curries and the portions and bowls, plates have all been reduced. The owner provides poor service as at least one other reviewer has noted. Once they opened other locations it went downhill. If they started using the same quality ingredients and recipes as before we would return. :(

This place DOESNOTDELIVER! I don’t know why people have confirmed that they do on this site, but it is misleading. Also not very authentic Thai, obviously, because they mix in lots of dishes from other places. Food is fine, though they skimp on the tamarind. Would recommend if you want a cheaper place.

Ok, I wasn’t a big fan of Thai food after my horrid experience, but my cousin convinced me in trying the pineapple shrimp fried rice. WELL…What can I say?! I am now a fan of that dish :) Everything about that dish was fresh. It had amazing flavor. Can’t leave out the green tea frap with bobba. It totally hit the spot! Keep doing what you do, Thai Pasta. you’re doing a great job! :)

This is not a real Thai place it’s all imitation. Food was horrible and my husband got sick from the drunken noodles which look nothing like drunken noodles but regular pasta. I didn’t get sick because I didn’t eat my Tom Kha soup that didn’t even tasted like the real Tom Kha. I would give this place 0 stars if I could

I’ve been to this place a few times. I should have known that this place was unsanitary when they were closed down for about a year due to the kitchen grease catching on fire. One the place reopened, I went back and while the food was ok. on my way out I saw huge cockroaches coming from the kitchen. I have never seen anything like this at a restaurant. I was sooooo disgusted that I will never go back in here and eat again. Not to mention that the service is mediocre

Had a lot better, but went for the lunch special and ordered the curry, which was very good. The portion was small though. Also had the eggrolls for the appetizer and they were very tiny(guessing this was just the lunch special portion). The server who I’m guessing is the owner, is not friendly at all until you pay your tab. Her attitude changed quickly for some weird reason when she came back around to pick up our payment. I won’t be back for a while.

Eh, it’s OK. Nothing fantastic, but serviceable food about a step above a fast food style place. I had the chicken red curry lunch special for $ 7.25, which included steamed rice and a small appetizer(I chose the 3 mini egg rolls), and a hot green tea, with tax $ 9.50, $ 12 total with tip. If I’m hungry, driving past, and have less than 30 minutes for lunch, I may stop again. Otherwise I wouldn’t go out of my way.

This place is now open!!! Disregard the title of it being closed. Today was the first time I went here and went through the drive thru. I ordered the fried wonton and basil fried rice. SOOOOOOFREAKINGOOD!:) Going through the drive thru was confusing at first because there is no sign saying which way is drive thru and once you find it there is no signs for food, so you order when you get to the window. It took about 10minuets for the food to be ready, the wait was way worth it and my belly was very happy. I would recommend coming to this place if you want thai. also check out their online menu before you go, it was very helpful!

I like its place, shrimp fried rice with pineapple, and some other good items. They also have boba tea. Not sure if this location is still open, but they have others too.

Reopened and HORRIBLE! Avoid, avoid avoid. This was a truly nigh-entertaining whirlwind of horrible food and service. Being the only two people eating on a Sunday afternoon, we expected everything to be quick and polite. The one waitress had us wait an extraordinary period of time until we managed to call her over off her laptop, where she was Facebooking away. We order one dish and two plates are brought out, one is caked with film and food. The Pad See Ew tasted of oil and grease and the waitress returned once to pour water, and add a fly from the pitcher into one of our glasses. Further, we stopped eating after discovering a fly hiding amongst the noodles. Wanting to just get home, we again waited patiently for the check before asking the waitress again. She brought it by, returned to her laptop and turned away from us. This time I had to get up and bring the check to the register, where I explained how our plates had bugs on them, how the service and food were poor and she simply responded, «I don’t know what you want me to do about it.» I stated that I was willing to pay for the food, but at least wanted an apology for the terrible food and service. She replied, «I don’t see why I should have to apologize.» The exchange continued and we left, completely flabbergasted at the treatment we received. There are so many better Thai options in the area, after that completely disastrous experience, I highly expect this place to close its doors again soon.
