Santa Fe Cleaners

I initially went here because it was close to my house. I have a white uniform coat for school and I washed it with some pens. The first time I dropped my coat off to get the black ink removed, he told me it would only take a couple days. A couple days turned into almost a week and a half. The worst part of it all, every day when I went to check on it, it looked EXACTLY the same as when I dropped it off, like he had not worked on it at all. I complained to a woman working, telling her that it didn’t look like the stains were even touched, and she went into the back, worked her magic, and the stains were gone. Now I was upset that what took her 30 seconds in the back, should have been done a week and a half ago, but I was just relieved the ink was gone.
About a month later, I got another stain on my uniform, this time it was blue ink, and not as bad. I dropped the uniform off Thursday, and he said it would be ready by Saturday. I came in Saturday before closing and he told me the coat wasn’t ready (again. I told him I really needed it for Monday, and he said it was too busy, he just didn’t have time.). I asked him about the stain remover trick they used last time to get the black off, and he just told me it wouldn’t work, and to come back Monday. Well, Monday comes along. Coat isn’t done, looks exactly the same as it did Saturday. Needless to say, I took my coat and left. AND he still wanted to charge me for just holding my coat for four days.
Overall, Im really disappointed. I came back a second time hoping their service would be better, but it wasn’t. Maybe he needs more help, or just better communication, but I definitely wont be returning.

My sister in law recommended this place for alterations. Being short, I have to have nearly every pair of pants shortened. I paid double at another place by my house ONCE and regretted it because they didn’t match the hem to the rest of my pants, whereas Santa Fe Cleaners makes it look PERFECT. You can’t even tell I had alterations because they match the hem to make the stitching look exactly like the original. Prices are very reasonable. Santa Fe Cleaners is easily 25 minutes from my house, but I won’t go anywhere else for alterations. This is an honest, reputable company that I would highly recommend.

The day of my suit cleaning emergency:
I was struggling to find someone to do same day service on my husbands suit. My usual cleaners refused to take my business even after me begging and pleading that I desperately needed the suit cleaned and was very sorry I had missed the usual cutoff by 2 hours. They rudely insisted that NOBODY in Vista would get my suit cleaned that day, thanks for the optimism guys.
It just so happend that a 5 minute iPhone search later I found Santa Fe Cleaners, and they were willing to rush and get my suit cleaned that day, my heroes. Also, come to find out that they were cheaper than the rude un-​optimistic cleaners I had been using.
Guess who is my new go-​to for dry cleaning? They are fast, very reasonably priced, and always work hard for my business.
