Jim, a Divorce Attorney & Certified Family Law Specialist in Vista & San Diego, has been practicing since 1971 and has participated in thousands of Family Law cases in different roles — as legal counsel, Judge Pro-Tem, a Settlement Conference Judge, or a Mediator. Jim has been recognized by Worth Magazine as one of the top 100 Trial Lawyers in the USA in all Legal Disciplines. Jim was also named by San Diego Magazine as one of the top 25 Attorneys in San Diego, and he has been continuously listed in Best Lawyers and in Super Lawyers since the inception of each organization. Jim has also been privileged to have served as the National President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers; California State Bar –Chair, Family Law Section and as the Chair, Council of Section Chairs. Jim has also served as the Family Law Adviser for the Judicial Council. Jim is also a recognized expert on ESI, e-Discovery and Evidence issues. Jim is a retired Naval Officer and a Vietnam Veteran.
