3.5 stars for the fairly quick service, and decent tasting food. I’m not that big a fan of their burgers here, but I wanted to try out this thing they call«animal style,» which is when they cook the patty in mustard, add extra sauce, grilled onions, and extra pickles. You can get the fries«animal style» too, but they just add grilled onions, sauce, and melted cheese to it. I wouldn’t get that again, it was too intense for me, but the burger wasn’t too bad. The restaurant is pretty small, and the parking lot is awful. There will almost always be a line if you go here, so be prepared for a wait and hopefully you can get a seat when people aren’t loitering about after finishing their meals.

Such friendly service and a great stop right off the freeway when traveling. I’m a vegetarian so I always order a grilled cheese sandwich and this one was perfectly melted! I suggest grilled onions with it as that helps the flavor. But so fresh and so were the fries. Again, love the happy greeting and service I get from In and Out. They also asked if I would be eating it in my car which I had not been asked recently by my local In and Out. I appreciated the extra satisfaction and knowing I could get a lap mat! Great job!

The best fast food burger bar none! Animal style extra patty is my usual and no matter what location I go to it always taste the same and I love it. When I’m in a rush and am craving a nice juicy never frozen burger this is my go to! And the fries are awesome too.

What can I say? In n Out is the best burger in existence. After EXTENSIVE investigation and I am prepared to say so with absolute certainty. Five Guys? Sure they’re okay sometimes. But you couldn’t eat it every day. In n Out you can. I know — I’ve tried to do so with both. They’re consistent across locations. The simple menu and focus on quality leave me wanting for nothing more. My custom burger — double double protein style with onions mustard and pickles only is only a few hundred calories, just a few carbs, and very satisfying. I could eat this every day. Love this place!

It never fails. No matter what time of day, drive thru is sooooooo long. but i guess its because everyone loves in n out and its right off the highway. My food is always right, and hott. favorite fast food for sure.

Stopped by this In-N-Out, while taking my wife’s 103 year old grandmother down to San Diego to spend a week with my brother-in-law and his family. Seems grandma was«starvin». Well so was I. Probably the busiest In-N-Out I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen some busy In-N-Out’s! After ordering and about a 15 minute wait, I took our food to one of the outdoor tables my wife and grandmother were waiting at. No room found inside the«In». I had a #2: cheeseburger(animal style), fries and root beer. Grandma had a #3: hamburger(animal style), fries and a 7Up. My wife had an order of fries, about all she could tolerate with new braces. I must say that they were beyond courteous here. One young lady staff member even checking on the outside tables, offering to bring anything needed. She brought a to-go bag for my wife to put her grandmother’s burger in for later. Even taking our trash and trays away for us. And the food was classic, up to par In-N-Out.

It’s a typical In n Out, looks like all the others and clean like most. The cashier was super friendly and the food was served fast as usual. If there is a place I can always count on for great and fast service it’s In n Out. Never had a bad meal, EVER…

It’s very hard to not like this place. No matter what time you come the wait is hardly over 10 minutes to get your food. Anyone who has been to In N Out a few times knows all about the secret menu. You have Animal Style where they dry mustard into your meat, add grilled onions, add pickles, and extra spread to your burger. You can also get your fries animal style as well. You can also add chopped chilies to your burger of you want to spice things up. You can order your meat medium rear or well done. Medium rear is by far the best as it gives the meat a little bit more flavor! You can also have your bun toasted more or less. Getting your bum lightly toasted is a good choice! You want something super flavorful and tasty order a Double Meat animal style extra pickles, extra spread, medium rear on a light toasted bun! Your stomach will be thankful for that!

Obviously great food, love in and out but this place needs some help on the customer service end. I made a to go order and when I came time to pick it up the guy practically played basket ball with my food tossing my special sauce into my to go bag like that was a normal thing. I’m definitely one to notice great customer service and poor customer service and this place need some assistants in that department.

Gosh, how can I express a small but good review for this place?! All locations are great. But what can I say? They have amazing food, super friendly service, small location but it works out just fine since the service is so quick. This one is so close to my house it tempts me often. Plus its right off the highway so its easy access for everyone passing.

Eating at In-N-Out Burger, in Vista and in elsewhere, offers diners exceptional value. Their food tastes delicious while they maintain a low price at the same time. Wait times can be a little long, but the tables are nice and big. The menu at the front of the store only consists of burgers, fries, milkshakes and fountain beverages. This chain and I have a long history. It is often my intent to patronize In-N-Out establishments whenever I visit California. When I last went, I had an animal style cheeseburger and animal style fries. Prices for their typical hamburger combos are often between five and six dollars. Their products are consistently wonderful. The store isn’t perfect, but the meat is tender while the fries are crispy, with unlimited refills to enhance the experience. In-N-Out has a justified following.

This place is dangerously good especially if you get everything«Animal Style». Since it’s down the street from where I live I was going twice a week. However with other restaurants opening up and wanting to try new places I stopped going as much. This place is really good. For being a «fast food» place I think it’s one of the healthier choices. Everyone here is so friendly and they work really hard catering to the customers needs.

I go to in n out at least twice a week. There is always something wrong with the fries. Look at these fries half of it is garbage. If I dine in I normally go and ask to change my fries but today I went drive thru and couldn’t ask to change it. Very disappointed

In and out. I have mixed feelings about in n out. At times i have the craving of going there and waiting 30mins for 3 dble dble and 2 frys. Just to drive home to peel the paper off of a semi dried out bun around the edges. Just to reheat for 12sec to make the burger warm and looking fresh. In n out is a classic but these days there being over ran by habit burger. Pure burger. Five guys. Etc. The long wait time kills it for me time and time again. But when you got that itch you got to get them burgers. The good thing is they dont change ever so you knoe what your getting «Roadway to Unilocal elite»

Pissed. Right now I’m on a no-carb diet(hence the lack of Mexican food check ins) and I was dying for something other than the usual protein I’ve been eating so I decided last minute on my way home to stop here. The guy over the speaker sounded pissed to begin with. I ordered a double double protein style with ketchup, onions(raw and grilled), and tomato ONLY. So that means no spread and no cheese. Normally in n out asks if you want cheese, if you do its a higher price. I never get cheese because I’m severely allergic. So I assumed I didn’t have to say no cheese or I would’ve ordered a protein style cheeseburger. I should’ve caught this guy’s name, a bigger Hispanic dude who seemed in a rush to get to closing in an hour. He even repeated my order and it sounded like what I ordered: double double protein style, ketchup, onions, tomato ONLY. Came home and opened it, STARVING by the way, and there’s cheese smothered all over the burger on both patties, not even scrapeable because it’s all melted. I tried to open it up to see what was salvageable only to find there’s also no ketchup on it. So now I am the definition of HANGRY. Will not return to this location, even though it’s just down the freeway from me.

What an incredible burger chain. I have tried all sorts of gourmet burgers and I always come back to In N Out. It simply delivers the best flavor for the lowest price. A good burger is one that can taste good plain, without any toppings on it, and In N Out’s burgers do just that. I don’t care much for their fries, but their shakes are pretty good too. To the folks complaining about the size of their burgers, comparing them to the size they were in the ‘80s: prices rise, get over it. It is still a very cheap burger compared to everywhere else, except for the gross chains. I keep seeing«artisan» burger chains popping up everywhere with $ 10 burgers. They are nowhere near the quality of In N Out and they are way more expensive. Also, the service at this particular In N Out is always incredible. Don’t fault them for having too many customers, and therefore a long line — good quality + low price = high demand.
