Established in 1945.

Horace Mann has been named one of «America’s Top 50 Most Trustworthy Financial Companies» for 2014 by Forbes after being named to its list of «Top 100 Most Trustworthy Companies» in 2013. The new list was established to separate financial services companies, which had begun to dominate the Top 100 list, from other companies.

Horace Mann made the list based on findings that assessed the company’s credibility, governance and transparency in business practices.
