You’d think a brand new Walgreen’s would have an ample supply of breath mints. I was shocked to see the mint section was hardly stocked at all! The clerk was very rude when I asked when they might be getting in the wide variety of breath mints available at other Walgreens and she yelled «WE JUST OPENED SIR! YOU CAN’T EXPECT EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT! DUH!». I was shocked and asked to speak to the manager. The fire alarm went off at that exact moment (the clerk claimed it was a scheduled test, but I think it wasn’t) and all the customers including myself walked calmly out the front door. The clerk then locked the door and laughed at us. Me specifically. I will not be returning. Even if they eventually carry thousands of different kinds of breath mints. I’ll just go to the Walgreens on the next block.

So excited this new location is finally open. I’ve been waiting a long time as I was getting tired of taking my prescriptions to the location way down off Rosemont Rd. They chose a prime spot in the Hilltop area and I’m hoping they give the adjacent CVS a run for there money. I really like the store layout and stuff is easy to find.
My only problem is the access to the place and it’s not Walgreens, but the City of VaBeach’s problem with that very old-​school and awkward traffic setup on Laskin Rd. that we all love to hate. In my opinion the City needs to remove the center median and add on more lane. It would give an additional opportunity to fix the continuous roadway flooding problems that plague Laskin from 264 to the oceanfront during the summer months.
**Overall, I’m to excited to say much more other than «Welcome to Hilltop Walgreens»
