We were here in December so this was one of the few places open. We thought it looked cute-space theme saying best pizza in the galaxy, etc. It was far from it. My son ordered the cheese pizza and it was mediocre at best. I was in the mood for Nachos so I ordered the Area 51 Nachos. Terrible. I asked for salsa for the Nachos and the waitress brought me buffalo wing sauce. Who serves Nachos without salsa? My boyfriend ordered the mushroom ravioli with marinara instead of the cream sauce. The sauce tasted like ragu and the ravioli were bland according to him. The only reason I’m giving them two stars instead of one is because the waitress really tried.

Very impressed with this little pizza place… Loved the space/alien theme, great location near the beach, and reasonable prices for great pizza. We will be back here during the summer when we make our annual visit to Va Beach. Hoping to make this place part of our tradition.

I arrived around 7:00PM on a very dead Saturday night(Halloween). There were maybe 3 – 4 tables occupied. The woman at the take out counter told me I could sit wherever I wanted. I saw a waittress but she never bothered to come by my table much less give me a menu. I walked out.

We walked in and were greeted and seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. The appetizer she suggested was delish! We got a pizza slice special. The slices were huge! Liked the sauce, I just prefer a bit more. You cannot beat the amount of food you get for the price!

I really loved the décor, which was alien themed(obviously). As far as taste goes, the pizza is really nice. I ordered the buffalo chicken pizza and the toppings kept falling off the pizza. It tasted good, so it didn’t bother me too much. The space in which we were put in was a little cramped(group of 7). They have alcohol there as well. I think it would be safe to say, it is pretty okay. I recommend eating there if you have a smaller group.

Pizza was VERY good– they didn’t skimp on toppings and it was ready within 10 minutes(ordered carry out and had a beer while I was waiting)… If you find yourself staying on Atlantic avenue under 20th street it’s well worth the walk:)

Planet Pizza lives up to their name and has the best pizza on the strip. The portions were huge and robust for the price and the and everything was pretty good. Sandwhich sauces were a bit on the mild side, but nothing pepper couldn’t fix. As for the pizzas, they had tons of toppings, flavorful sauce, cheese, and crust, and the small was enough to feed 3 people with ease. The décor while 90s nostalgic was nice, but needed a bit of a modern touch. Despite that, it shouldn’t deter you from trying their food.

Very good place to eat on Atlantic Avenue. The buffalo salad was fresh and delicious, pizza was great and Philly steak sandwich was wonderful. No complaints here! I look forward to eating here again.

Good pizza place. We has a pizza pie, spaghetti and very large meatballs and a garden salad. Food was decent especially the pizza — crust and ends are soft like a pretzel. Service was quick and good. I would definitely come back. The décor was interesting with alien figures all around and I thought it was roomy so large parties can be accommodated.

Pizza was good but the meatball sub was horrible, the spinach and artichoke dip was ok if there had not been a block of unmelted cheese on top. Service was ok, drinks were left unfilled for a bit.

Excellent place to pop in and get a pizza after walking the VA Beach Boardwalk. The service was fast and the pizza was great.

This place has a great vibe. The décor is funny and friendly. This is definitely a great place for any ages. The staff was nice and attentive. We ordered a 5 topping pizza. They gave plenty toppings! The pizza was very cheesy. There was more than just pizza on their menu too! Good food for a good price! I would eat here again. Fun place!

Not to bad the atmosphere is kinda cool! Friendly staff and waitress was nice also. Pizza wasn’t to bad had the buffalo chicken and WOOOOOOW make sure you have water. I like spicy food but that pizza is EXTREMELY spicy! Also had chicken teriyaki which was very good! The crust is a tad thin and pizza was very«flimsy». Had the nachos as well for an appetizer and they were decently good! I would say prices are a little steep for a pizza place… but hey that’s me

Atmosphere was very cool !!! Nice change of scenery for being next to the beach! Food was good and prices were a little on the steep side. We ordered the nachos and two different kind of pizzas, only complaint with the pizza is the thin dough makes the pizza very loose and they make up for the lack of dough with sauce. Overall a good place, good staff, and good food.

Checked out this place for dinner a few days ago while we stayed at Springhill suites. Right off the bat. why do you want to turn the place into an igloo?. It was freezing cold inside the restaurant(prolly in the 60’s) and we were seated right under the vent. Very uncomfortable. It took a while for the waitress to show up. We ordered a few appetizers, Spinach Ravioli and Mediterranean pizza. Pizza was the bomb. However the ravioli looked like it was a frozen one. The waitress brought us the main course first and after reminding her we got the appetizer. that was a bummer . Over all not a great place. Mediocre.

This place has a cool outer space-like design to it. I remember aliens over the place. Anyway, we popped in for lunch to get a break from the Polar Plunge last weekend. Our server was nice but she didn’t seem too eager to be working or helpful in serving us. Normally, I clean everything off my plate but I couldn’t seem to get through my entire gyro. It tasted really plain to me. I really can’t say I was a fan of the food. The t-shirts for sale were really cute(semi-sarcastic). It reiterated that this is a tourist spot. Prices were quite reasonable though.

Funky outer space themed dine-in, fast and extremely friendly service, good pizza. Nothing spectacular but better than most, it’s a great place to bring kids! We had a Mediterranean pizza and it was good. I had a blue lemonade(alcohol) and it was decent as well. Not too pricey either.

This is a silly place that obviously caters to kids desire for the weird. We chose here mostly because it was nearby, the prices were OK, and the reviews weren’t bad. Upon walking in, it feels like you’re stepping into a Men in Black set, or at least a cheap knock-off of one. Photos of UFOs litter the wall, cheesy spaceships and aliens hang from the ceiling, and everything looks like stainless steel from the 50’s and 60’s. Service was alright, nothing spectacular nothing bad. The food itself did the job but I wouldn’t write home about it. It’s a stereotypical pizza joint where you buy for quantity rather than quality. Bland tomato sauce, tasty but chewy crust, and so-so cheese is what to expect. Price is OK, as long as you’re buying the regular pies and drinks. Try anything fancy, though, and you’ll pay a bit more than average. Would I go back here? Probably. It’s a good choice when you have nothing spectacular planned and just want some easy, nearby food.

We go here every year for our pre-race meal. In previous years I do not remember the pizza crust being so thin — kind of odd because it has so many toppings, very hard to eat. Maybe that could be retweaked. The spaghetti and meatballs was alright — meatballs good, sauce good but it was a BIG plate of noodles and hardly any sauce. Strange again. We will probably go next year just because it’s close to our hotel. They also deliver. The second night we got cold subs — the dressing tasted off to me… so I only ate half my sub. Decent cold cuts and cheese on it though — dressing just tasted kind of like windex if windex was meant to be eaten… Onion rings good. but hard to mess up those,
