Classic no frills family style Filipino cuisine. Not the place for a first date but definitely the place to go after church on Sunday! They offer quite the variety of Filipino food. An awesome place to bring people who have never had Filipino food before. Sunday’s they have a buffet with all the best stuff(crispy lechon bits, dinuguan, kare-kare, and pansit bihon). Atmosphere is normally packed on Sunday’s and it doesn’t really die down but it’s worth the wait. You pay before hand and then get a seat after, don’t be that person saving seats before you even payed haha! Give this place a shot and I think you’ll be happy with the results!

Recommended by Filipinos so you know it’s good! I believe the owners are from pampanga which is known as the culinary capital of the Philippines so you know the food here is great! I had diniguan, adobo, lumpia, pancit, and lechon kawali. This place is a must try if you’re in the area. Friendly service, and just a very welcoming atmosphere. I don’t listen to Filipino music, but it, and the food had me dancing.

I come here sometimes on Sundays for lunch because they serve a really good Filipino lunch buffet. I love their pancit, lechon, and chicken wings. Also, their sinigang is masarap(delicious)! It will get packed during the lunch buffet — that’s why it’s good to show up when they open at 11:00. They have a variety of food, and they also have a variety of desserts too. This is my favorite Filipino restaurant in the Hampton Roads area. I definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to try delicious Filipino cuisine. :)

This is your typical Filipino«family» restaurant. Meaning, it’s hot inside and people everywhere eating. The blanket of odor will hit your nose as you walk in, but rest assured, their food is amazing! There is absolutely no other Filipino restaurant that serves food even as close to my mother. Sinigang is yummy, they have kare Kare, adobo, tocino, fried rice, desserts such as bibingka, leche flan, and cassava. This place is definitely a hidden gem!

I love their BBQ sticks and Kare-Kare. I have yet to go to their AYCE Sunday brunch though. This is my go-to place to get to-go Filipino food to take back for my long road trips back to Alexandria. They practically know me and my mom since we always go here. It is in such a convenient location. Yummy!

I’ve only been here once on a weekday afternoon and I’m impressed with the quality of food here… very fresh! Not a single limp vegetable in my take out. Service was also good. I can’t wait to try the Sunday buffet. This is THEBEST Filipino food folks!

My Filipino friends brought me the other day because they said it was a must try. I think they were trying to freak me out by all the authentic food they serve here, but little did they know, I live for authentic! We decided to do the Sunday brunch. Doors open at 11AM but if you want to eat you need to get there by 10:30 — 10:45. There’s a line out the door. Mostly because the place is small. The buffet isn’t huge. It’s no American buffet. but you honestly don’t even need that. I think its a perfect size, otherwise I think I may have been overwhelmed trying to try everything. The food was all outstanding! Fresh, hot and the service was great! They keep the tables clean. I think my only qualm with the place was that you have to buy water and it comes in a little bottle. I drink a TON of water. Especially when I’m eating. So I felt pretty dehydrated. But, other than that I really enjoyed myself here! I would recommend it! Even though I know nothing about Filipino food, but I still thought everything tasted great!

Whoa! That’s some excellent lumpia! Special pancit is most delightful too. My coworker treated us last week to lunch and I must say, it was so good I’m already trying to figure out what day I should take some home for dinner. My only issue, the lumpia is cut in half and I don’t want anyone to see me consume 20 when it’s really 10 lol. The sauce is tasty too. Hhhmm, if I take the long way home Friday I’ll go right by here. Yep, already have dinner planned.

This is my favorite place(other than my auntie’s lol) to get kare-kare and diniguan. My mom and I stop by frequently in the summer for halo-halo as well.

A hidden Gem in Virginia Beach. Best Filipino food in the area. If you aren’t looking for the restaurant you will miss it because it’s right behind Captain D’s on Indian River Rd. I have been here on numerous occasions for lunch, take out and Sunday buffet. The service is great, you are greeted before you even reach the counter. I have ordered Lumpia and Pancit for parties, which my family loves. It was done on time and I didn’t have long to wait to pick up my order. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others. They are only open from Wednesday to Sunday. Sunday is when they have a buffet, $ 10.99 for adults, $ 5.99 for children a day $ 1.00 can soda. The place packed on Sundays so come early. ok

They’re just the best! They have the best filipino food by far, and they have buffets during Sunday! I can’t say enough how good the good the food is, the yummiest I’ve had since coming to Virginia! –Lets talk about the letchon kawali: Super crispy skin, tender meat, not dry, hard or chewy. It’s just plain delicious! They serve mang Tomas on the side where the sauces are. –lumpia: crispy, not too salty or dry. I can gobble them up in seconds! –fried chicken: better than mine! So crispy, well flavored and cooked to perfection. They have a bunch of food like caldereta, Kare-kare, adobong pusit, veggies etc! I liked the caldereta and kare2 the most. They have Sinigang Sabaw too that’ll cure ur sinuses. Just the right sourness and pork flavor. So much desserts to choose from. Creamy flan, maja Blanca, turon, u name it! I love their bilo bilo, heavenly! This place is by far the yummiest filipino buffet hands down. I’m from California and we’ve been looking for a nice filipino place to come and eat at and we found it.

$ 10.99 Lunch Buffet on Sundays is as clutch as you can get with the best homestyle Filipino dishes in the area other than your mom or grandma’s kitchen. $ 6.99 on the weekdays includes two buffet choices! The lechon & kare kare are my top 2 faves! The lechon skin is so crispy, and the pieces are more meaty than fatty! The kare kare was very savory and you can bet I got second plates of these! There’s a great selection of other popular Filipino dishes such as, pancit, lumpia, dinaguan, chicken adobo, vegetable medley, menudo, pinakbit… and more. The sinigang was sour perfection, just how I like it! The dessert selection includes puto, cassava cake, fruit salad, and leche flan. The atmosphere however, is very… Filipino. Lol. The layout is too crowding for my comfort. When you walk in, the cash register is at your right and it’s hard to form a line without blocking the door or getting in someone else’s way, this being on a busy Sunday. There are bar seating, tables, and booths but prepare to wait if you come with a large family if you are planning to sit all together. On the weekdays, the register is near the buffet and it is less busy. When you walk in everyone happens to stare at you, probably to see if they know you, because«we» all happen to know each other… right? Lol. The buffet is definitely worth it and the staff is hard working! Whether you are new to Filipino cuisine or not, or just very selective when it comes to Filipino dishes such as I am, you will find something to enjoy!

This place has the best Filipino food in the Hampton Roads area. It is a cafeteria with a buffet but the food stays hot and the staff are friendly. They have a wide selection of PI favorites. The pancit and menudo were great. I thought the kuri-kuri was bitter but the friend I had with me thought it was delicious. The Shanghai spring rolls and Lechon Kwali were the best I’ve had in the US. I’m sure I’ll be back again.

This place is amazing. I’m from north luzon area and their food here is exactly the taste of my hometown dishes. Everything here is filipino legit and for the $ 12.99 buffet you get excellent quality filipino food. A true cafeteria style eating. They had a great variety of dishes and desserts including all the classics — lechon kawali, adobo, lumpia, pancit, sinigang, puto, leche flan. etc etc. Sundays here definitely gets packed so come after the church crowd. We didn’t have to wait too long though when we came in peak hours. Maybe a 10 minute wait. I brought 3 of my friends here who never had filipino food and they loved it. I always make it a go to place whenever I’m around Virginia Beach.

The sweetest, nicest girl helped me with my order. Excellent customer service! I needed to spend $ 5 to meet the requirement to use my credit card, she suggested purchasing 2 lumpia which put my order at $ 5.01

Came here for lunch. Nice colorful space. They have the usual Filipino staples. Price a bit higher than the other Pinoy restaurants. Pay cash and you get a free drink. They don’t use styros for plates but instead the breakables. Come here for lunch where everything is freshly cooked.

Very good Filipino Food. However, the buffet on Sunday is PACKED. The after church crowd packs the place and you will have to share our table with people you do not know. They ALWAYS have problems with their AC, so be prepared. They do not have regular fountain drinks or tea. They have like a regular water cooler for room temp water and they sell can soda and canned juice. The buffet is good and decent price, I recommend getting your order to go.
