History
Established in 1949.
Ocean Eddie’s opened decades ago on the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier in the sleepy resort town of Virginia Beach. Originally established as a hotdog stand, Ocean Eddie’s has grown to become one of the most popular seafood restaurants and nightspots at the oceanfront.
The restaurant has many new additions, such as the deck and an oyster bar. It has grown from a modest 24 seats in the beginning, to the 168 seats in place today. We take great pride in serving the freshest seafood available and providing a wide assortment of tropical drinks, delicious burgers and sandwiches, and the fact we serve only Certified Angus Beef. and operated by the Lachman family for decades. It closes in the winter but reopens each spring.
