History

Established in 2009.

Conceived as an Incubator for Critical Thinking, Music/​Art Making, and Pure Creativity. Music Theory Studios core Mission is to Teach, Motivate and Inspire our Students through our amazing curriculum based Music & Design Courses.

Our première audio recording studios and dedicated team look to provide the community with an artistic outlet.

We support our clients through ALL phases of their project and our experienced engineers treat every audio recording with care while paying close attention to detail.

Jazzarae Mitchell is the founder of Music Theory Studios a première Audio Recording Studio and Music and Art Academy. Eva Stallings has described her as «an example of extreme creative talent, mixed with a business women’s intellect.» Developing new concepts in an ever-​expanding industry has positioned her company to spread throughout Hampton Roads, Virginia. Her multidisciplinary musical and communications background has assisted her in radio broadcasting as a disc jockey on HOT 91.1FM, Joy1270, WPCE, and WGPL. Although her skill set is vast her expertise revolve in dress making, and clothing design. With a seamstress sensibility and a designer’s eye, Jazzarae has created her own path to success.
