Music-In-Motion Dance Academy

My daughter has danced @ Music in Motion Dance Academy since she was five. I have had nothing but a FABULOUS experience! My daughter loves dancing there and dance five days a week:) The staff and teachers are wonderful!

This tiny dance studio might teach kids to dance, but you’d have to make it past the ancient, drafty, tiny front waiting room and «owner with an attitude» first. The owner, Darlene, is clearly there to make a buck. I recently brought my daughter in to try out dance to see if she liked it. Darlene made sure I felt welcome by ignoring me for an hour and then, sensing that I hadn’t paid her anything yet, pounced on me with the registration papers. She didn’t say welcome or I hope your kid has a great time we’re glad she’s here. She just let me know that I’m responsible for paying tuition on time and that I can set it up to automatically withdraw from my bank account. So, after a month of sitting in the tiny waiting room watching Darlene appear only to rearrange magazines and not talk to any of the parents, I decided to pull my daughter from this chilly studio. I’m not sure if my daughter learned anything since the classes are behind closed doors with no viewing window, but from what she said, her teacher Jessica was great. Too bad Jessica doesn’t have a studio.
