Kin’s Wok Chinese restaurant

I didn’t even get past the order in the phone because the lady was so freaking rude. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but you guys should probably find someone more polite to answer your phones. Ridiculous!

This is Good chinese food for a decent price.

This is a great location. I have passed this place for years but on a rainy Sunday I decided to try it out. The woman at the counter at first seemed a little annoyed with me, but ended up being friendly. It’s a family restaurant so there were kids in the back, but they were quite. The restaurant was clean, a few tables and a few chairs to sit while waiting.
I ordered the garlic chicken wings, chicken fried rice and crab rangoon. I don’t know how you go wrong with chicken wings but I think there was too much sauce which softened the wings. The chicken in the rice looked undercooked so I didn’t eat it. I did enjoy a part of my meal, the crab rangoon. It was good and plentiful. They also gave me a nice helping of sweet and sour sauce. In the future I will pass this place up unless I’m craving a good crab rangoon.

Best Chinese delivery food ever. The sweet and sour shrimp were perfectly crispy and tasty. Fried wontons were even better. Fried rice was very good. You have a new customer.

Great — I feel like I finally found my Chinese place in VB. The rice was a standout for me, a little sweet and perfectly cooked. The veggies were perfectly cooked too, and fresh. We also had the dumplings that were terrific. We ordered from order up so I took that into consideration, I can’t imagine how excellent this would be in the restaurant.

This place is great. I have tried a couple of Chinese restaurants in Virginia Beach and this is by far the best. I placed an order for my family and all of us loved what we got. The egg rolls were great, garlic chicken and the fried dumplings were really awesome. I highly suggest you try this place!

Great place good food, friendly employees and delivery was fast and driver was Polite. I ordered online the website was very easy to navigate with a wide range of menu options and prices. The food was great I recommend everything I got except the gravy its nasty other thing that the food was fantastic.

Came here again, tried the wings and fried rice again just to see if I got it right the first time, and was heading to the ups store after the gym and I was hungry.
I gave them another star because the food was better this time around, and had more flavor. Last time it was bland, but the wings were actually seasoned this time and the rice had a little more flavor as well.

I normally go with their lo mein which is good but I decided to switch things up a bit and get the shredded beef which was a mistake all I got was onion I spent most of my dinner looking for the shredded beef I tried separating the two and ended up filling my take out box with onion and barely having any actual shredded beef I have to say I was let down.

Plain and Simple. No chicken in the Gen Tso Chicken. All breading. No steak in the Pepper Steak and Onion. All rice and vegetables. I wanted to try something different since Golden Wok has gone down hill but looks like Kin beat him to it.

Kins wok is an uncomplicated Chinese take or out place located next to party city and farm fresh. I ordered Hunan chicken with a side of fried rice and an egg roll to go. The Hunan chicken was $ 9 + 1 extra dollar for replacing the white rice with the fried rice and the egg roll $ 1.10.
Egg roll was the bomb. It was fried perfectly and the fried shell had a great flavor to it. I really regret not getting two! I also enjoyed the fried rice — not too oily or salty. Hunan chicken was good also — spicy sweet dark sauce. My problem lies with the meat to veggies ratio in the curry. There were barely 6 pieces of chicken in the container– enough veggies to feed two but not chicken– extremely disappointed (- 2 stars just for that) However, everything tasted great & I’ll return for their egg roll. yum!

This is the only Chinese place that I go to! Even though it’s located in Virginia Beach and I live in Norfolk, I make the drive because I like this place and they’ve never given me a reason to stray!
They are friendly, quick, and consistent with their food! The prices aren’t bad at all either! I’ve tried many different options including: general tso, beef lo mein, beef & broccoli, curry chicken, and chicken fried rice. All were excellent! They have a combo option with many of their items that includes the meal with a side of rice (brown or white) and an egg roll for a good deal.
They are open late a well, which is always a plus!
The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because of the containers that they use. Most of the time when I go I get the beef lo mein, and instead of putting it in the traditional box you see at Chinese places, they put it in a styrofoam box. Many times the liquid from my food will seep out all over the bottom of the bag or on my seat/​pants! Not a deal breaker, but still kind of annoying since I know they have the traditional boxes.
Overall, love this place!

I am giving this place 5 stars because I have probably tried just about every Chinese restaurant in Virginia Beach and they, by far, have the best tasting chicken and broccoli. The staff is really sweet and they get you out quickly… Perfect for an on the go lunch break.

Great distance from my place and people are friendly. Food was okay, too much breading on sweet and sour pork, not enough meat in it. Beef Broccoli was good, as well as the Crab Rangoon and Shrimp Fried rice was okay, not what I expected. Overall, the place is convenient but food could be better, but great customer service.

Standard Chinese take-​out kind of food, but I work in the Pembroke Mall area, and it is my favorite Chinese place in driving distance.
