Description

Specialties

Jake is just a good olé country boy with a special gift for making the finest bar-b-que you’ll ever taste. You see, Jake wandered around the country for years tasting, sampling and learning about the art of genuine Jake’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. What he brought home was the secret to REAL bar-b-que: cooking it SLOWLY over a hardwood fire. What Jake discovered was that smoking adds flavor, and slow-cooking gives the natural fibers in meat time to break down and become tender and tasty. He also created his own special blend ofbar-b-que sauces so you can spice up your meal the way you want.

History

Established in 1999.

There’s no cookin’ like slow cookin, at Jake’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que in Virginia, Beach. Great barbecue comes from hours of slow

cooking over a real hardwood fire

which creates that unique mouth

watering flavor. Come and taste

for yourself why people from all

over the Hampton Roads area rave

about the great barbeque at Jake’s. We’re located just 5 minutes from the Virginia Beach oceanfront.

We are a family owned business. Catherine’s Catering is also another compliment. She works along side Jake preparing dishes other than Bar-b-Que. We hope to see you soon.

Manager

An early riser, Jake gets the fire going long before you even know you’re hungry. That way you can be in a hurry for lunch or dinner and still experience that great slow-cooked, smokehouse flavor.

Eat at Jake’s or take it home to the family. Either way, just one bite and you’ll know why Jake says, «There’s No Cookin’ Like Slow Cookin’.»
