Ordered House pancit for myself and bourbon chicken combination for my hubby and everything was amazingly delicious! Decent delivery time considering that I ordered at the end of peak rush hours for delivery. I Must try the sushi here next… Will review further when I have.

The place is cute. The staff was very friendly. best hot & sour soup I have had in ages and the small was enough to share. I didn’t care for the egg roll but the rest of my family liked it. I also didn’t care for the beef w/broccoli because the beef was chewy. I liked the lo mein, moo goo gai pan and cashew chicken; however, the rice was long grain not short grain sticky rice, which is a deal breaker for me. It was okay but I don’t plan on returning.

Great hot and sour soup. I have not had such a good spicy bowl since we were in California. All the food was very fresh and the egg roll was hot. My wife did not care for it, but I enjoyed the flavor. My girls, both teens, loved them. We ordered a mixture of moo goo gai pan, beef and broccoli, cashew chicken and low mien. I thought the flavors we good, we shared four small orders and all were full. I was not overwhelmingly pleased, but main courses were good.

I wish I could give this place less of a score they are not deserving of this one star cannot get an order correct to save their life.

In Virginia Beach for a quick trip and found this place for lunch. Always hesitant with touristy Chinese restaurants but this was a treasure! Great food and very fresh. We had crab Rangoon to share and I had General Tso’s chicken. All 4 of us really enjoyed our food and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. Thanks for a great lunch!

Ordered delivery from here for dinner one night. Everything was very good tasting Chinese, from the sweet and sour chicken to the crab Rangoon to the bourbon chicken. Delivery was quicker than I expected and nothing was forgotten in the order. Also they threw in extra fortune cookies so there was about 8 cookies for just my boyfriend and I which was awesome. Definitely would order from here again.

Yes, I’m giving this place five stars. Good food is often hard to find in the resort district. Let’s face it, tourists often have little ability to be picky. I am not a tourist. Located between Atlantic and Pacific, this place has the best takeout/«dine in» at the oceanfront. Jade Garden is good, but my food quality at Golden City is superior lately. Fresh, tasty, and affordable. What more could you ask for? Perhaps the dine isn’t a place to take your date for the evening, but the food quality more than makes up for it. If you want crappy food, go elsewhere. If you want affordable quality, come to the Golden City.

I don’t know how there are so many good results. I had the Mongolian beef. I get it everywhere I go. It was horrible here. It’s tasted like sausage I get on top of my pizza. Then asked if I could get something else and then they gave me chicken with broccoli. I ate some of that as well. It tasted like they put the same sauce on it. I ended up just throwing it away. Nothing tasted as it should.

Food was very tasty. It’s that classic Chinese comfort food, and it hit the spot! It was pretty quick, relatively inexpensive, and yummy! We took the food to go because the place is filthy. If they renovated, it could be 5 stars. CLEANYOURRESTAURANT. That is all. P. s. We got a lot of food and tried it all, nothing disappointed. Best spring rolls and cabbage chow mein I’ve ever had.

So me and my family are on Virginia beach and everything was so expensive but this place was the cheapest place on the beach so we were like heck let’s give it a try! I ordered chicken and beef which was very good and the veg Lo mein which was okay. The wonton soup was really good as well. The little kids that help their mom are so cute ! And so smart. If you’re looking for a cheap stop by and eat for dinner or lunch this is it. They didn’t have sushi available though on aFriday night which was weird and it all had a lot of sauce which tasted good but I guess my stomach didn’t agree so that’s why I deducted a star.

I work around the area in Virginia beach and I ordered a delivery for the General Tso Chicken and an order of crab Rangoon. The food tasted great but the only reason I’m giving it 3 stars was the fact that my food arrived extremely late. I ordered around 7 and a couple of minutes and food didn’t get to my job till around almost 9. I was very disappointed in the delivery.

Average Chinese joint. Got the chicken and broccoli but I’ve had better. Egg drop soup was delicious. We wanted to get sushi there as well but they had stopped serving it since it was too late I assume. A little too pricey for the quality in my opinion.

Best on the Beach! We were looking for something a little more routine during our vacation and Chinese was the choice. Other reviews on Unilocal were positive so we decided to give it a try! We were not disappointed. In fact we were delighted! Everything was freshly cooked and served very hot. Great portions and tasted awesome. Definitely great value. When I come back to VA Beach, I’ll be there again for sure.

I had the sesame chicken. Food was good and it was extremely quick. The woman was very friendly. It wasn’t the fanciest place but I’ve found that the best chinese places don’t have to be. My fiancé and I split the sesame chicken and each had an eggroll which was more than enough. It came to about $ 16 for the regular dinner size sesame chicken with rice, 2 eggrolls and 2 sodas. Will definitely be back!

Overall, it was so-so. Not the best, but not the worst. They literally have 9yr olds answering the phones and«manning» the counter. I would suggest keeping your order short and sweet because the children taking your order(both in-person and on the phone) don’t know where the menu items are or what they include… My fiancé had to point out on the menu to the kid where«mushu pork» was located… isn’t that pretty standard? Also, the children were like wrestling one another behind the counter while we were ordering… I had to wave the debit card in their face like a shiny object for them to pay heed… Unilocalers, beware…

A hidden gem!!! We found this place on our last day. We wanted to eat lunch before we left and thank god we did! I ordered the General Tso’s(not spicy) with fried rice($ 6.95) and my husband got the Peppered steak with onion & white rice($ 6.95). The food was delicious and very fresh. We also ordered the California roll and crab Rangoon’s…which tasted amazing. The presentation was beyond what I had expected this type of restaurant. The building could probably use a few renovations, like paint, but don’t let that scare you away. Also parking spots can be hard to come by … But don’t give up! For the price and quality of the food, you just can’t beat it. When we come back to virginia beach I will definitely be returning here:) Seriously do yourself a favor and stop in:) You WONT be sorry:) :) :)

I love this place — I come here every time I visit Virginia Beach. Actually, my entire family comes here every time we visit Virginia Beach, and we all order the Singapore noodles(as should you). $ 7.25 for a huge portion of Singapore noodles? Yes! This usually costs $ 11 in northern Virginia! Call ahead to order — since they make everything fresh, you’ll be waiting about 15 minutes if you don’t. The family is very hard working too. It’s always the same couple working here. One night, I was waiting for my food while an angry family complained that they weren’t paying for their food because the bathroom was dirty.(It was July 4th — of course it was dirty!) The poor woman stood there, took it, and even apologized.
