History
Established in 2011.
The owners, Dean and Sue Gonsior, were the area developers of all Tropical Smoothie Cafes in the Hampton Roads, VA area. The opened their first TSC in June, 2011 and a little over 8 years later, they had 38 TSCs operating in Hampton Roads. The Gonsiors sold their TSC territory and cafes and focused on bringing Hampton Roads a brand new full-service casual dining experience.
FIREBREW opened on March 6th, 2011 in the Red Mill Landing Shopping Center, just off the southeast corner of General Booth Blvd, and Nimmo Parkway.

Dean is a retired Navy Master Chief (22 years). Both Sue and Dean were the area developers for 38 Tropical Smoothie Cafes in the Hampton Roads, VA area.
