I have been attatched to the Eagles Nest ever since the beginning. I have been involved with 97.3 the Eagle radio and the club numerous years. I highly enjoy being involved with the country music scene. I am all about good times, high energy and providing you with the best country night club experience possible.

I’m not a country girl at all. In fact this was the furthest south I’ve ever been so I thought I’d check out a local spot. They have a simple food menu and the basic drinks.
They have live music and a wooden dance floor. A few girls started dancing, here it was line dancing. I’ve heard of it before just never saw it performed. I don’t care for country music so I left just an hour after being there. I can say that I did have a good time watching people line dance and being in a different atmosphere.
I don’t think I’ll go again but if you like country music and want to mingle with the locals, this is the place.

Like many before me, I have to comment on the security staff and management. As a repeat customer I will not be stepping foot, or spending any money in this establishment again. Had a great night until an incident with the manager and security staff. Bouncer came from behind and put myself in a choke hold, as I was sober and talking to a manager. Was never once asked to leave, and even called to speak to the owner who never returned my call after speaking to him. They need to do something about their over zealous security staff and arrogant management.

It’s hard rating this place. Fun it you go before it’s jam packed. last time I went it was impossible to walk through since they obviously go over capacity.
PLEASE LISTEN WHEN I SAY PAY IN CASH PER DRINK! I cannot stress enough how many drinks will be added to your tab by the end of the night because they think you wont notice! It makes me so mad how they try doing this to everyone! I was a DD one night but bought my friend a drink and didn’t have cash and the next thing I know my card was run for $ 30 something dollars?! Hell no! Poor drunk people wont even know the difference and they take advantage… Bartenders need to stop being rude as well… you dont make drinks that well enough to have an attitude.

Being my first time here for the NFL Draft 2016 I must say the specials are priced good along with the beer. Its loud for sure but what else would one expect on such a night? It’s the football draft!
The appetizers we ordered were on par and as busy as the place was the waitress was on par as well not missing a beat with drinks and keeping up. So kudos waitresses job well done with a smile!
Any hoot n holler I give this place 5 rhinestone cowboy yeehawws! Thanks for the kind hospitality y’all!

This was my first time at this location but i’ve been to the Chesapeake one a few times. I went up to the bar to order a drink and I literally asked 2 questions about the prices. Then the bartender (who was a short female) flat out said «Are you going to order a drink or keep asking questions» and then walked away before I could even respond. Not only was she rude, but she over charges on drinks. She was trying to charge me $ 11 for a mixed drink. I went to the bar on the other side, where the bartender was much friendlier. She only charged me $ 7.
I told my friend what happened and she told me the same bartender was rude and that she was also over charged for a drink. She was charged a higher price for the same drink that she got from another bartender for a lower price.

I came here on a Friday night. This bar was SUPER country. They had a mechanical bull, and a HUGE stage where a live band was playing country music. A lot of the customers were even wearing cowboy hats. Crowd had a good mix of young and old.
It was very loud that night. Good if you’re looking to dance, not so much if you’re looking to just drink and relax. Drink prices were okay, definitely cheaper than NYC, and they serve food as well.
The bouncers are a bit rude though. They push and shove customers out of the way. An excuse me would be nice.

Been here a couple of times. I’m not a country music fan… I’d even go as far as saying I dislike it. I’m putting that aside in this review and just focusing on the operations itself. Friendly door staff, quick and efficient bartenders, decent food. Like I said, I’m not a big fan of country music so that probably will keep me from going too often, but otherwise a good spot.

If you feel like going to jail… this is the place to go… the bouncers are always looking to start something even with sober people and I saw 2 people getting arrested when the bouncer ran into them. This place is like the twilight zone! STAY AWAY!

This by far my favorite and go to place to watch football. Drink specials before the 1pm games. Best of all free cash give away in their game of the day squares. How can you say NO to free. Oh forgot about the food. Their signature Eagles Nest burger with the fried egg is awesome.

Bouncer got in my face for waiting for my girlfriend outside the bathroom!!! The bartenders and servers are very kind here but the bouncers need some serious lessons in COURTESY. The guy seriously came by and said «MOVE OUT OF THE WALKWAY» so I stepped back and then he threatened to kick me out…
To the onwers: Please train your staff properly. Not just the servers and bartenders…
They totally ruined my experience here and I am not the person to start drama

Wow, ordered a jegar bomb and got some mixed price of crud. Asked to speak to the manager, and asked why they don’t serve jegar bombs, or disclose that they don’t serve them properly upon ordering I got kicked out. Everything else was awesome. Good music, and good staff. Just crummy management and customer service. I won’t be going there again with my group of 20+ people spending hundreds of dollars each in a night. Even security told me I was in the right, and the owner was just a jackhole. …says a lot.

I was surprised to learn that they have Sunday morning brunch. I never really see cars in the lot on Sunday mornings so I thought maybe it was a fluke. On our way home from the beach we figured we would check it out. We got there at 11 and watched the staff come in. We went in and grabbed a table on the dance floor. They offered $ 1.99 mimosa, screwdrivers and bloody mary’s. I ordered the fried grits just because I love grits. Possibly the best way to eat grits. I couldn’t resist ordering the chicken and waffles (minus the sausage gravy) let me tell you… That was the BEST brunch I have had hands down.
I will be back to try other things from the brunch menu for sure. The only reason i can’t give this 5 stars is because the food was a bit pricey ($ 10−15/person). I only needed 1 mimosa, at $ 2 the drinks are a still. But breakfast is supposed to be the cheapest meal of the day.

I haven’t come here for the full weekend party experience yet. I have friends that come out from Suffolk on the weekends so we usually meet up at the Ches location on the weekends. I have started to come frequently for Wednesday night line dancing lessons though! We show up a little before 7 to get the food specials or we just get one of their half prices pizzas to share depending on the night. Then the lessons are from 7 – 9. They do a good combination of new dances and classics. We usually do 3 – 4 dances each night. Then after the lessons the music just keeps going! It is a great weekday outing with my girls. I look forward to it every week!
Note though: Their food is actually really good!

Wednesday nights line dance lessons from 7 – 9. ½ pizza and drink specials. Fun and safe place to hang out with your girl friends.
I get there early for the lesson. The regular teacher Kenny is good, always a lot of fun. They have a guest teacher, Nancy, who is awesome!!!
After lessons the music doesn’t stop. I always have a great time.
Carlie is the best waitress! Hands down!

First time at this place Saturday night and it was AWESOME. We were having the best time with great music and great service UNTIL.
Until someone from the staff decides to walk around not looking where he is going and one of my friends takes a step back and bumps into him or steps on his foot and this guy claims she fell down and is too drunk to stay and that all of us have to leave.
What a quick way to damage a first impression. Everything was great until this guy got his ego hurt by a very common accident when you’re out dancing.
So just be careful to not bump into this guy, and I hope someone from management or higher up has a word with him about his customer service.

The newest hot spot in Virginia Beach is the Eagles Nest. Formerly Jewish Mothers, «The Nest» is the most happening place since «Rouges Gallery» 20 years ago. If you want to see the next Kenny Chesney or Keith Urban, this is the place to come.
Even if your not a fan of country music the energy is high and the dance floor is lively.
Come for dinner. The menu is excellent and reasonably priced. Try the pizza’s or calzone or seafood (mesquite grilled shrimp or Cajun seated Ahi Tuna are excellent)
Have some fun on weekends or learn to line dance on Wednesday
