Friendly staff however room needed to be clean upon check in. Tv didn’t work. Missing necessary items in room. Very disappointed.

I’ve stayed here once before, a few years ago, and they have made some marked improvements. It appears as though they’ve done a good deal of remodeling. And they did a great job.
We had an event here Saturday last, and overall I was quite pleased. The food left a bit to be desired, but that’s seems to be par for group events like this around town. The service/​staff were all super friendly and did their jobs quite well. They were lovely hosts to our celebratory night.
The room was simple. Nothing over the top, but also nothing lacking. The bedding was clean, room smelled great, good water pressure in the bathroom. The mini fridge and microwave were the perfect size.
The view wasn’t great. But hey, it’s a hotel. Not on the oceanfront so it’s really not a big deal.
Parking was good, check-​in/​out was good. Nothing was left to be desired.
Will definitely recommend and stay here again, soon.

We spent 3 days here in a suite and was great. Having the extra room for the kids was awesome. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. We will come back here.

Overall we had a good stay here. We would certainly come back if we were in the area again. Would give this 3 ½ stars if I could.
The Good: Safe. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. Great location if you’re going to the convention center for a conference. Krystal from housekeeping was wonderful and bent over backwards to serve us with a great attitude.
Areas for improvement: something happened with the pipes in our room when the people above us took a shower. It sounded a bit like a motorcycle in our room. That wasn’t a very pleasant experience at 11:15 at night. It seem this happened a good bit to some of my peers in other rooms, and the front desk affirmed it was an issue and took note of it. There was one day when housekeeping essentially forgot to clean our room… despite multiple calls to the front desk to fix the problem. Eventually they found a housekeeper before everyone went home and she hustled up and cleaned our room. Finally, there was something malfunctioning with the fire alarm system that caused us all to have to leave our rooms for two hours from 145 to 345 in the morning. Not fun. To the staff’s credit, they did a wonderful job with a terrible situation and were very apologetic the next morning.

All in all this was a great place to stay and it is safe to say that we would go back again. It is dog friendly which is so nice! The staff were so kind and my boyfriend and I definitely took advantage of the free cookies! It is in a great location, and since we went during off season, it was just a quick drive to the beach (1 mile away, parking was easy!) The room was clean and the beds were comfortable (TV was huge!)
The only downfalls were the lobby to the third floor was a little smelly, the sink and tub didn’t drain well, and the air conditioner broke (that being said, I didn’t inform them on the air conditioner since I didn’t feel the need to use it.) this is not the fanciest hotel but if you are looking for a good deal it’s a great choice ! We had a great time.

I decided to stay here for my birthday weekend with a couple friends and my dog. When I first arrived to the hotel I was impressed based upon the lobby, but then that changed once I went to my room. The room smelled old and stale. The bathroom was horrible! There was a black ring around the toilet, the paint was chipping off of the bar boards, the wall paper was peeling, and the towel rack in the shower was rusted.
Slightly disappointing, especially for a Hilton property. The property does have a pool and gym as well as a restaurant. Although, the location is a few blocks from the beach and offers a shuttle, I would not stay here again.

Overall, a decent hotel located in an ideal location for tourist looking to explore the Virginia Beach area. In my opinion, the customer service was excellent. They were very courteous and accommodating for all of my questions and needs. The biggest downfall initially with this hotel chain was the hotel accommodations. A microwave and refrigerator should be a standard item in all rooms, and to shell out $ 180 bucks a night without those basic items is pretty terrible.
Update… After talking with customer service, you can request a microwave and fridge for your room if it isn’t equipped with one, and they will bring it up to your room. You can also request this while making reservations either online or via phone call.
Room water temperature was also an issue, but just let customer service know, and they can come up to etiquette room and manually adjust the temperature to your liking. I initially gave this a 3 star rating, but now have bumped it up to 4 stars.
Overall decent stay, but I do believe that certain items should be a basic standard and already be in the rooms. The staff was exceptional for my stay. Not pleased with the etiquette of the bar tender of the hotel. For example, if I pay you $ 40 bucks for a $ 21 meal, wouldn’t you expect to get your change back with the option to pay/​leave whatever tip you choose to the bartender? If your answer is yes… well that didn’t happen. I had to call that person out with it so that I could leave the appropriate tip, which ended up being less than what they would have received had they not tried to keep my $$$

I’m pretty shocked at the star rating this hotel has. I had a great experience here! The staff was spectacular. Very warm and helpful. We received a complementary check in call a few hours after arriving so that they could make sure that we were happy with our room. The shuttle to the beach was great and the drivers were friendly as well! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great when we visited so one night we stayed in at the hotel bar. The bartender was great and the drinks were CHEAP! The brunch buffet the next day was beyond my expectations for a hotel as well.
All in all, I would absolutely stay here again. Great price, clean and close to the beach. Not much more than you can ask for.

I stayed here for a work event one weekend. If given the choice, I’d probably not stay here again. We drove around the building once in search of the front door. We finally found a red sign with an arrow pointing to a random door that said «hotel entrance.» We were able to check in with no problems. When we entered our room there was a musty wet smell. I took off my shoes and noticed the carpets were damp. I went to take a shower after having traveled all day but the shower wouldn’t turn on. We notified the front desk and they had to send someone to fix it. They only did a temporary fix because there was no water pressure. The water just trickled out. The bathroom needs major renovations. Everything has an old feel with lots of bumps and dings. The beds are decently comfortable. I would say that was the best part of our stay. The walls are paper thin so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. If you want your room cleaned or to be given fresh towels you’ll need to call down to the front desk. No one came to clean our room during our stay and no there was never a «do not disturb» left out.
The gym is a decent size. It has about 3 treadmills, 3 ellipticals and 3 bikes. They have a cable machine and weights that go up to 40lbs. There is an indoor pool if your little ones want to swim. It’s not big enough to do laps.
There is a restaurant on site but I would recommend eating elsewhere. The food isn’t great and service is horribly slow and unfriendly.
The hotel is about 1.2 miles from the beach. I would recommend driving or taking a cab. You have to go through a pretty sketchy neighborhood to get there.

Been working here for over a month and most of the employees I’ve met are really friendly and meeting guests from different places has been fun.
Oh and the cookies here are the bomb!
